Why no one talks about it?
It's like the Hey Now! of DM, or how it used to be, now everyone talks bout Hey Now!, and it rocks, it would work really well as the second track on DM, after those RNRS noises fade-out the intro to UITS fits like a glove.
This song puts Liam's vocals to good use, he mixes some of his early tricks here: enlongated words, brief falsettos, shieeeeineee.
Thoughts?

One of those that just pops into my head every now and then, love that swirling repetitive riff

It's one of the weakest songs on DM and this pretty much says it all about the quality of the album, really.
I rarely listen to it but it's always enjoyable.

Lately I’ve grown quite fond of Noel’s acoustic version from the LF b-Side.
It’s the only DM song that hasn’t been played since the 2000s.

A good song, but with tracks like Listen Up knocking about, it's hard for me to justify it's place in the starting-eleven.

It’s the only DM song that hasn’t been played since the 2000s. Since 1995 I'd guess

Bonehead's rift makes it a classic. Never would change the track list of the first three albums, especially DM. It's part of the amazing 8 track run that's nothing but pure Northern England rock and roll.

Up in the Sky is in my top 10 favourite Oasis songs. It's amazing how effortlessly Liam drifts in and out of falsetto throughout the song and his delivery is superb. I love the middle eight when he sings "You'll need assistance with the things that you have never ever seen, it's just a case of never breathing out, before you've breathed it in."
One of Liam's best live performances without a doubt.

It’s the only DM song that hasn’t been played since the 2000s. Since 1995 I'd guess Yes, last gig of DM tour. Sheffield Arena I think, April 1995. And underneaththesky is right, it was done in the NEw Jersey 1998 soundcheck.

There also is a soundcheck of Noel doing it from 2006 iirc. Or was it Roll It Over?

Yes, last gig of DM tour. Sheffield Arena I think, April 1995.And underneaththesky is right, it was done in the NEw Jersey 1998 soundcheck. That was the same gig where DLBIA was played for the very first time.

Along with BIOD my least favourite song on the album. It's alright though. I like the bridge.

I like Up In The Sky, but it suffers from being surrounded by Oasis’ best ever songs so it kind of gets left behind. Good middle eight as well. Solid enough lyrics.
The only song on DM that is iffy is Shakermaker, but even that middle eight is awesome.
