HAHAHAHA
This whole thing is funny for me, just in my ulitmate loathing of united. So if this club were to ever take off it would be something. Still, at least they were more than just talk

Well Wimbledon done it, I mean went from a non-league side all the way to the Premiership and FA CUp glory in 1988, so its happened before.

Yeah I heard they were planning this a few months ago. Also heard they wanted Cantona to manage them!!
Good on them, I fucking hate Man U but at least some of them have actually stood up for themselves, unlike the 97(?)% of the sharholders who forgot their loyalty the second they saw the $ signs.
Wankers!

About this whole selling of Manchester United to Glazer. I guess the fans of the team have a right to be angry with him, especially after what he said about the raising of ticket prices.
But what i don't understand is that why isn't anyone angry at the original shareholders that sold their stake in the team to Glazer ?
wouldn't they be the real sellouts?

Glazer is going to run ManU right into the ground just like he did the Buccineers.

When Wimbledon changed to milton Keynes i though it was unfair that they could start in Coca Cola League 1, they should have started in a league like "FC United"

They changed to "Milton Keynes Dons" - the exact same club, just different name & ownership The fans weren't happy (hadn't been for years) so they formed a new club called AFC Wimbledon, who are now playing a couple of divisions below the Conference

A friend of mine who is a Man United fan said that after all the demonstrations and all the fans burning there season ticket renewal forms, only about 500 fans had not renewed there season tickets at Old Trafford.
If that is true and my friend is fairly reliable that i think that tells you alot about Man U fans.
Bunch of Essex boy ponces the lot of them.
USA USA USA!

I was talking about the original Wimbledon club. They were a non-league side who worked their way up the leagues and eventually all the way to the 1st Division which obviously became the Premiership in 1992, winning the FA Cup along the way in 1988. Im sure they were only promoted to the league in 1979 and 9 years later, there they were beating the mighty Liverpool side of the 80's and lifting the FA Cup.

I heard the first thing FC United did was negotiate a deal with a sandwich company to ensure a bountiful supply of prawn sandwiches.

USA USA USA! ;D well your "fairly reliable" mate is full of shit, approx 3000 season ticket holders failed to re-new their books and alot more official match members failing to re-new sparking panic at united, that lead them giving season tickets to virtualy anyone, many people i know was offered season tickets from manchester united having only applied for 8 - 10 matches in the past, before that you had to be a match member for many years for even to be considered for a season ticket, thats why there is a record amount of season tickets been sold there for the coming season. im a member at the now name of "FC United Of Manchester" and things are taking off very quickly, we now have a manager, close to a full squad of players after the recent trials and close to a board, we have a freindly at leigh RMI and at AFC wimbledon coming up, things are looking good, also there is a rumored aprox 5000 fans will be supporting FCUM so it isn't as bad as idea everyone thought it was. plus people who think that we are deserting our club are wrong, people are now being priced out of supporting MU and this is to keep the working class people and traditions of manchester united watching football.
