Just realized Blink 182 have an album out this year - yet another high profile release in September.
I love Blink, but didn’t like their last album, (California, 2016) bar a few songs, probably due to it being without Tom DeLonge. Still, I eagerly await their newest effort.
Let’s delve and see if Blink have released any material ahead of the album release this September.

Just listened to Nine on Spotify. Solid album.
Much much much better than their last effort (California), which was shit as easily their worst.
Some good hooks on this album, yet at the same time missing that magic that only Tom could provide. Over produced to fuck, though. 3.5/5

I used to be a Blink fan during my early 20's so I gave this a listen out of curiosity.
There are a couple of good moments, but it doesn't have any of the elements that made blink good back then(and I'm not talking about the penis jokes). Instead it sounds kind of... robotic? Like a AI was fed with Mark's voice and lyrics from past songs and this was the result.
I know I'm not the target of this album anymore, but it feels so weak compared to the Untitled (they said this album was some kind of sequel to that one, might be a tv movie kind of sequel).
