Always thought it sounded like 1968-69 era bee gees to me Some of the arrangement sounds like Traffic's first album as well.

Swollen Hand Blues.
Obviously, cos it was intentional to ripoff the Beatles in the most stereotypical way - or at least I hope that it was intentional (!).

anytime they sung a beatles track, to me oasis never sounded like the beatles. I think the beatles are the most overrated band in history

Why? It references With a Little Help... at the end, but then the lyrics in the chorus lift from The Kinks' Wonderboy. The guitar, both the tone and the playing style, isn't very Beatles at all, and the lyrics are much more rambunctious and laddish than any line of John, Paul, George, or Ringo's that I've ever heard (with the possible exception of "She was just seventeen--if you know what I mean").

A bit of While My Guitar Gently Weeps in there too.
