Quite a few contenders for this one, too.
But surely we all have to go with Gas Panic.

Gas Panic is probably right, but Headshrinker is up there.

The intro to Turn Up The Sun sounds quite dark imo

Gas Panic is probably right, but Headshrinker is up there. hmm, never really felt Headshrinker was dark, tbh! Just a bit punky. Probably Let's All Make Believe as their 'darkest' song.

Falling Down is a bit dark in its own way, too.
But yeh, LAMB/Gas Panic or perhaps Roll It Over.

I guess it's all in how you interpret the lyrics. She (Liam's ex) definitely sounds depressed/manic based on the verses. Musically, it's definitely a punk song.

I do recall Owen Morris saying how dark the sessions for SMS (which produced SMS, Acquiesce and Headshrinker) were, however. They'd popped back from the US for the Brits and then done a quick studio session and apparently there was a lot of coke being done at the time. All a bit tense, but the output ended up being great.
