I am watching, as always. It's a great tour for us Belgians with impressive wins from Dylan Teuns on La Planche des belles filles. Another amazing win from Thomas De Gendt who raced the whole stage in the front, very impressive, with only 10 seconds ahead at the finish. Then we also have Wout Van Aert, only 24 years old, becoming a good sprinter.
We don't compete on the GC though, I think Thomas will win again. Team Ineos is the best team once again, they didn't lose time where the other GC racers did.

Tim wellens is doing great in this tour Team ineos is the best team till now but honestly I don't think they have the best team for mountains stage, we'll see soon

My beter half has been following the tour since when he was a kid.
I have zero knowledge of this, but I always love to watch the finish in Champ Elysee.

Yes! This Tour has been awesome. I'm amazed at how well Alaphilippe has been able to hang on but if he cracks, Thomas, Kruijswijk, and Pinot are gonna be there to battle for GC. My hope is that Alaphilipe can hang on to pull off an upset, but seeing a close battle for GC would be cool too. It's amazing how when you take out just one rider (Chris Froome), this whole thing gets blown wide open.
As far as the other riders, Wout Van Aert has been cool to watch and has made an impressive debut in the Tour. Tim Wellens is doing a solid job, and Peter Sagan is as good as ever, and he even signed an autograph & did a wheelie, all in today's stage! Vive le Tour.

Just listened again to that album today, as I do in July each year: A strong record, shame they didn't release anything else since.

When you are hot from exercise, you can kinda go on as normal with some types of torn muscles, but once you cool off, that's when the pain comes. That happened to him during today's stage. Seeing him in tears was hard and he was likely the only one who could have challenged Bernal in the Alps.

They really have no other options due to the conditions and time limitations. But fucking hell, it's gonna be like a mountain time-trial now.

I'm following it as usual but not trying to watch every stage like I used to back in the 90s - for me that was the best era for cycling. Abdoujaparov, Le-Mond, Kelly, Miller, Pantani, Induráin. Ok, they were all probably drugged up to the eyeballs but still great to watch. Nothing will ever beat Abdoujaparov's crash on the Champs-Élysées in 1991 - about 1:29 into this: Speaking of Abdoujaparo, there was a band named after him, started by Fruitbat from Carter USM. Don't think they've released anything for years now but check them out.

1-2 for INEOS in Paris. Alaphilippe completely bonked today, and in hindsight, can call himself quite lucky to remain in the top 10. If yesterday's end of stage had not been neutralized, he would have dropped off a cliff on the GC.
Boring last stage however. Everbody seemed dead on energy and INEOS pretty much controlled it as they wished.
Happy for Nibali's stage win, what a career he has had. Won all GT's, and has many important 1-week and 1-day races on his CV as well. A true legend.

Vincenzo is so underrated (2 giro d'italia, 1 tdf, 1 vuelta, 2 giro di Lombardia, 1 milano Sanremo) One of the best cyclist of the last 20 years without a doubt
