LONDON, England -- Liverpool defender Steve Finnan has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a car crash in which an 81-year-old pedestrian died, British police said on Tuesday. The 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who played in Liverpool's astonishing Champions League triumph last month, was first arrested in April over the incident on January 27. The 81-year-old Liverpool man died from head injuries five weeks later. "A 29-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on April 11 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving," said a spokeswoman for Merseyside police. "He was bailed pending further inquiries to appear at a police station on Wednesday June 29." Finnan started his career at non-league Welling before moving into league football with Birmingham and Notts County. In November 1998 he was bought by Fulham before moving to Liverpool ahead of the 2003/04 season. edition.cnn.com/2005/SPORT/football/06/14/finnan.arrest/Whats the story with all the footballers being arrested today?
