I'm not much of a fan of Ed Sheeran but he clearly is talented, and a good songwriter. However, I'm not sure a collaboration with Liam would do much for either, they don't really "go" together as singers I don't think.

He doesnt need Ed Sheeran . He only needs a concert or an event or an advert that could have a massive appeal to the pop/rnb crowd . That made WOG trending as #1 worldwide in spotify (see manchester concert).
glastonbury is a good chance (2nd on the bill before the killers) but i m not really sure if he can have that in glastonbury

One of my favourite pop tunes of the year. Went down great at summer barbeques and is also a safe bet at parties.
Anyway, he wouldn't work well with Liam at all. Ed is at his best for me when he incorporates hip-hop into his sound to balance out his usual twee persona. He'd make Liam sound softer, and Liam would make him seem like a hipster at a rave. If I had to get any chart-topper to collaborate with RKID, I'd probably have to go with Swae Lee. His atmospheric voice could be a nice balance against Liam's snarl, whereas Ed's radio-one-croon would be overwhelmed by it.

Rkid doesn't need any shit pop artist to collaborate with him. A talented up and coming artist named Noel Gallagher would be a good match for a star like Liam.

5 or 6 years ago? Yes.
Now? No.
He jumped the shark by releasing trite like Shape of You and re-packaging Thinking Out Loud as Perfect, imo. Now if he did something like Blow (which is a song that a lot of people reading this might like), then I'd be fine with a Sheeran/Liam collaboration. Otherwise, no.

Surely Liam wouldn't do something that stupid.

I wasn't actually a fan of BLOW, which is weird because Bruno Mars is a genuine pop mastermind. Misused on that track, for me. Give me Beautiful People, Antisocial, and Cross Me any day. All top tunes.

This wanker already murdered Wonderwall, let not his name be associated with anything Oasis related ever.
