IMO, it’s the best HFB line up ever. Gem’s guitar and Mike’s keyword works brilliant plus the Ladies nice backing voice. It would be great if they put more psychedelic tunes, like Falling Down & The Turning instead of Little by little and wonderwall. I also wish they will play revolution song and put back rivermen, the Balling of the mighty I and Freaky teeth on the setlist.
So what you guys think ?

I agree with Falling Down and Gas Panic.
I might also suggest a version of Columbia that emphasizes the spacey elements. It would also be cool to see them attempt a re-arranged and psychedelic version of Setting Sun. Also, back in 2000, Noel was doing the rounds on TV and radio with a really different version of Who Feels Love? which amped up the synth parts that was heard in the live versions. That might be an interesting one to attempt.

Gimme shelter or something like that that uses more the female vocalists, to replace All You Need is Love.

Imagine this, plus group harmony vocals on the "pride" and "see" parts:

It would be perfect if Noel set up a semi-acoustic section in the middle of the gig. Ideal set : Dead in the water, Who feels love? then Sunday Morning Call or Idler’s dream. There were really much great tunes which fitted for Noel, rather than repeat wonderwall, little by little and The Important of being idle

They should be closing with All Around The World. The girls would do perfectly for the nanana's. Also, the song has plenty of metals to do justice to the original version.
And if we are talking about nanana's they could also bring back Champagne Supernova cos it has never been done and it's beautiful.
Oh, and She's Electric. With Jess and Russ doing the backing vocals, that would be superb.

I can't believe he put Digsy's Dinner in the set back in the CY tour and he's not playing Falling Down or Gas Panic. The songs he played post 2000 are: Go Let It Out (which is amazing) Little By Little (meh) Stop Crying Your Heart Out (better than LBL) Mucky Fingers (fuck me what a shit song) The Importance Of Being Idle (a keeper) Lord Don't Slow Me Down (bring this back ffs) Idler's Dream and Shout It Out Loud (he only played them like 3-4 times)
No rarities or fan faves ever. I mean he soundchecked Falling Down. PLAY IT

They clearly couldn't get it to work in the way Noel wanted to. He's a perfectionist. If he doesn't think it's right, it won't be played. Same goes for Liam, too.

ballad of the mighty I and falling down are two tunes that never really worked live for me.
rely to heavily on their production style to put it across in a good way.

In Falling Down's case it doesn't make any sense. He played it during DOYS and he had the same drummer and the same guitarist. If it was Liam who sings it I could understand, but is a really easy song to perform actually.

But it's not just about having the same drummer and Gem? They've got to think how it all works together. Then where does it fit in the set? Does it go with the flow of the other songs being performed? It's not just as black and white as 'well he played it in 2008 and 2009'. Also, didn't Falling Down get dropped at the end of the DOYS tour too? Maybe it's not an easy song to get right after all? I personally never thought it sounded amazing on that tour out of all the bootlegs I've heard. Like @dreamwalker said it seems to lose a bit live. That's not to say I don't want to hear it. But I can understand that there'll be reasons - valid ones for Noel - not to include it.

Or STHTF fits with Alone On The Rope? I don't think so.

It came after DITW (following ALL of WBTM) and then before a few NGHFB songs. So it fit fine. HTWA again works where it is in the set at the moment. I'm not disagreeing that Falling Down could fit, or that it wouldn't be nice to hear it. I'd love to. But just because he soundchecked it doesn't mean it will work. There'll be a reason for not putting it in.
