Palm Beach's owner of the NFL's Tampa Bay Bucs needs to chill. Big time.

Malcolm Glazer recently had local cops investigate why a chopper hovered near his house, telling the law he feared a sniper. He even came up with the helicopter's fuselage number, which police tracked down to a neighbor.

"We weren't doing anything wrong, I swear," said the neighbor, developer Bob Miller. Miller that day was on a joy ride in his Hughes 500 with his pal, County Commish Jeff Koons. Miller lives just north of Glazer's home. "I was showing Jeff my house and my son's house down the street. I didn't even know Malcolm lived there.

"When I got to my office, the police were on the phone asking about a sniper onboard. I was flying with the doors off that day, but I can attest no one wanted to do Malcolm in."

The 76-year-old Glazer has been a little jumpy lately. He just bought the Manchester United soccer team in England, and some crazed fans who fear that he'll trash David Beckham's old club have threatened to kill him. Glazer has been having $60-an-hour off-duty officers guard his $12 million beachfront mansion since mid-May. The reclusive Glazer couldn't be reached for comment.
