Forgive me for not knowing but are the 12 inch mixes that Noel reveres from the 80s all that different from the single mix, other than their length? Yes, some of the 12 inch mixes of New Order songs were completely different mixes, or even takes of the song. This wasn't always the case, though. However, the 12 inch mixes were almost always superior IMO bc they allowed for a slow buildup from a simple drumbeat to a huge crescendo of synths that just wasn't possible in only 4 minutes. I haven't heard the extended Black Star Dancing, but somehow I feel that it doesn't do anything close to that....

Jesus. Noel thinks we’re all stupid doesn’t he? That 12” version! Same with the two instrumental tracks on the dire Who Built The Moon LP. Almost identical. Pointless. I can’t tell the difference. It’s still a crap tune anyway whether it’s 7”, 12”, 15” with extra cheese....That made me laugh, now I want some pizza... Thanks.

The 12'' version eliminates the second "chorus" by YSEE, which is the BEST part!! C'mon Noel, now you're just trying to be annoying

Th Pardon my ignorance, but is 'Black Star Dancing' only coming out on vinyl and digital? Or, cd as well? Thanks. No CD as far as I know. Though like others here I expect it to be released on CD at some point, probably once all three EPs have been released, gather them all on a single CD with possibly a perfunctory extra track (unreleased remix or demo) & milk a few more bucks from these songs that way.

I've got bored of it pretty quickly. Have no urge to listen to it again now, it's alright.

For example, I’d rather have 7 inches of Live Forever than 12 inches of Black Star Dancing.

I'm absolutely loving it. And for the first Gallagher related video on ages, it's actually made the song better! It's so much a parody of the Oasis fan base and I'm totally the guy standing up thumping his chest as the solo kicks in! 😎
P.S. It's basically an AA version of Stop Crying Your Heart Out isn't it?

Genuinely don’t know what that reveals. I don’t know whether he likes Noel’s sound being a bit different or not, whether 6 Music are credible or not or whether it’s just yet another ‘original’ ironic hipster review.

I hate music reviewers. Who gives a shit what some geezer Ive never heard of likes, and what qualifies someone to be a reviewer? That just takes the biscuit, what a load of horseshit.

^^ this. Critics of music/movies are the worst. If you can build your own opinion you don't need to read any of that bullshit.

Liam's last video from his album cycle I've All I Need had about 500k views after a few days to give you an idea. Would of expected Noel to be close to a million by now as it's the first single of the new cycle.

Yeah and Holy Mountain I think in the same amount of time, around 4 days days was sitting at 600k or something like that.

Drivel. A journalist who isn't sure what their opinion is supposed to be on Noel in 2019 so doesn't express one, even though it's literally their job.
