Idea for this thread randomly came into my head, probably been done before but never mind.
What is the greatest single of all-time? And by that I mean including both A-sides and B-sides.
As this is an Oasis forum it would be rude not to mention the following:
Some Might Say: Talk Tonight - Acquiesce - Headshrinker
But I've also been listening to a shit load of The Smiths lately and this one is pretty incredible as well:
William, It Was Really Nothing: How Soon Is Now? - Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want
Let's hear your thoughts folks.

Bit of a cliche (but true I believe) but Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields. This. I immediately thought of this one when I saw the title of the thread. All You Need Is Love/Baby You're A Rich Man is pretty solid as well. (Picked it up around 30 years ago at a shop, still minty to this day!)

We should get a poll going on L4E's top 50 (or 100) singles of all time, and then rank them in order by number of votes. But.... it would probably be too much work with not enough people voting.

Just realized I have an old copy of this. We Are The Champions is actually the "A" side. I find that interesting because whenever you hear We Will Rock You on classic rock airplay you always anticipate WATC to immediately follow.

Anyone not familiar with Suede’s b-sides then please get yourself acquainted, you’ll not be disappointed

I just realized two of the most iconic Songs in rock music were on one single? Wtf i didnt know this. I know this forum doesnt like Queen as much but this is almost impossible to beat.
