Imagine Noel hanging out with Billy Corgan, that would be the weirdest thing ever. Huge Pumpinks fan here so, why not. Two of my favourite songwriters.

Literally the only way I'll stay for the Smashing Pumpkins is if Noel comes out to play "1979" with them.

In terms of crowd size for Noel. Like i said, Hollywood Casino Amphitheater fits 28k. With a sold out show, worst-case scenario is him playing to 14k.
That's a lot bigger than the usually 3k he plays to when he's here.

This makes me mad. I'm going to go see Noel, of course, but I'm sure as shit not staying around for the Pumpkins. Never cared for them. At least I won't have to fight the traffic getting out of Blossom...

Any bets on ticket prices? I think they’re going to be shocking unless you want to sit on the grass or 300 levels. My SP tickets last year were $120 and the seats were nothing special.. I gotta decide tonight how much I’m willing to spend so I don’t lose my head in the moment OR drag my feet

Very interesting how many people don't like Smashing Pumpkins, whose heights--artistically--blows away almost every single one of their contemporaries.
Plus, they're from Chicago so Im basically at the eye of the storm haha.

He’s like the USA Noel of that era. So many bangers. Rhinoceros Drown Cherub Rock Today Disarm Tonight Tonight Zero Bullet With Butterfly Wings Thirty-Three 1979 Eye The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning Ava Adore Perfect And that just covers 1991-1998.

So do we have any idea how much tickets might cost? I might go through the whole process in the morning only to decide to ride it out with lawn seats because I'm not paying an exorbitant amount of money to be subjected to the Pumpkins.

I have to go because it's Noel, but Merriweather (in Columbia, MD) is just terrible. You spend 2 hours getting into the parking lot, don't see sh*t from the lawn, and then spend 4 hours getting out of the parking lot...soooooo, I'll be leaving right as Noel is walking off stage.
I'll listen to Billy whine about today being the greatest on the ride home.

Did anyone get the NG presale code yet? Yes, Noel's management announced today that the code will be released five months from now. Everyone stay at this level of excitement until then!! (See above, I'm just gonna use the pumpkins code SOLARA)

I guess this means the Pumpkins will have Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 2 out by this summer tour. Maybe that is why Warner is grouping these acts together. To push new albums in the USA.

The new one is also a good return.

Totally misunderstood record that was way way ahead of its time. If it dropped today it would still sound contemporary. Fantastic production top to bottom.

On my short 15-minute drive home from work yesterday they mentioned this tour no less than three times! Also, gave out a pair of tickets.
That's three more mentions of Noel than I've heard in 6 years of living here. Clearly this set up will be nothing but good for Noel's profile stateside. Not saying he's gonna become a thing, but it's great for him all the same.
