It looks like a departure from the WBTM style so maybe it will be new tracks?

WTF? This must be a joke. OMG is this BAD. It’s completely consistent with all the other WBTM artwork, what’s your beef? X

I like the artwork to be honest, I prefer it to the WBTM one. As for the remixes... disappointed but not surprised. And I'm not against remixes when they take the songs to new paths and transform them into something great. But as someone said most of NGHFB remixes are just verses looped and they sound stuck in the 80's. Very lazy move from Noel (as usual), I don't think it would be hard to release something more interesting, a demo and a live performance for example.

Ah Noel’s management, utter teases with that “new material at the live shows” tweet!
Not even a full EP, oh well.
I expect these to be decent remixes though, looking forward to hearing them.

That's fine. And I guess it won't be THAT limited. Noels last three RSD releases (Beautiful World Remixes, Mexicano Remixes, Heat Of The Moment Remixes) are quite cheap on discogs

I hope he'll also release it worldwide digitally. El Mexicano is not available outside UK.

I know Noel loves that 90s acid techno sound (and indeed, so do I), but the idea of a remix EP would excite me so much more if Noel brought in some more modern producers to rework songs off WBTM. Get in Four Tet, Nicolas Jaar, or DJ Koze to find the space and beauty between the lines of the songs, and we'd have something far more interesting and unexpected from Noel.

they picked 3 of the weakest songs to remix. I suppose that tells you something at least they're not touching TMWBTM (yet?)

This is limited to 2500 in the US. How that gets defined as "limited", I don't know. Especially in the US.

The Doors London Fog 10" (that has already been released as part of the box) is "limited" to 11k copies. It's like I said in the other thread: nowadays, RSD is just a joke...

Does this RSD release make it more likely we will actually get a proper album fairly soon, judging from the tease of new material for the tour? I thought at best this Wait and Return would be a short collection of old unused songs, but if it's remixes then there must be something bigger on the way.
Edit just seen the Sardy news in the other thread

It's like what Jerry said, as long as Noël keeps releasing remixes then Susan's memory will live on, or he said something like that....
Thanks.
