Crisis!!!!
Owner told us products from Warner wasn’t shipped in time for today!!! Some of my stuff is in that batch. Luckily the owner is writing our names and numbers and will call us on Monday when they arrive. And most importantly it goes by where u were on his list. So I’m safe.

First year having a store in my local town participate. Walked in at 1PM and picked up Noel's release so no complaints.

I managed to get my Czarface and Ed O.G. , going back at noon to get them both autographed !! 👍👍 They did not have the Craig Mack/Biggie mixtape, but it's coming in on Tuesday and they are saving me a copy.
No Noel either, but I wasn't expecting them to have it anyway. Win some, lose some.
Also picked up Weezer's Teal album, teal vinyl on a whim.

Also got Dylan, Lennon, Frank Black, Pearl Jam, Broken Social Scene, U2 and Soccer Mommy. I have Jeff Tweedy on hold for a Monday pickup. Huge day. Huge win.

My this year's RSD purchase. Unfortunately I missed the 7# single by Moz, but I'm more than happy with these ones. Noel's RSD release is sold out over here now. My friend in Manchester was standing in a massive queue at front of the Picadilly Records when I called him that I got a copy for him as well. Had a pretty productive RSD. Bought Noel's release, as well as Elton John, CSNY, Bob Dylan, and Otis Redding. All of them solid pickups.

I hit up my two normal spots of Turntable Lab and Generation Records, but I also went to Rock & Soul in midtown for the first time as they both didn't really have a very good selection this year. Rock & Soul had everything I was looking for… but it wasn't well organized. |

I saw Steve Lamacq whilst I was queuing and asked what he had grabbed, and he showed me the Elastica album and grumbled that he had to pay for it! The hardships and struggles are real. |

Walked down the street after to Somerville Grooves, he had only one. Went back to Index an hour later, the other two copies were gonzo. |

I ended up getting Noel and John Lennon on the day, and a mate sorted me out a copy of Bob Dylan.
The only thing I didn't get that I did fancy was the South Park OST, but I heard that was incredibly expensive anyway.

Just called Newbury Comics in Harvard Square, they have the Noel and the guy put one behind the counter with my name on it 😁😎👍👍

...if there was ONE record that I could choose to get an official RSD release, the one album that has eluded me over the years, my Holy Grail... it would be The Grey Album by Danger Mouse. Original copies are out there in the wild but they are very expensive. I wonder if Yoko will ever let it see the light of day? She can take my money now.
