I thought it would be fun to do the same @kitjenson (I hope it's okay) did, but then for Liam's catalog.
Let me know if I forgot a song (co-written) by Liam.

He didn't have anything to do with Wall Of Glass, For What It's Worth or Come Back To Me. Flick of the Finger was a collaborative effort, Liam only had the basic melody without lyrics. I think Take me, Alice and Life in Vain are missing. Otherwise great thread! I found myself mostly clicking 7 or 8 with Noel, with the odd clutch of songs scoring near or totally perfect and a few absolute dire mistakes in the 2/3/4 region. With Liam i'm mostly hitting 6-7 with the odd 8 or 5. No real complete failures but no stone cold classics besides Songbird either. Liam's consistently good and his songs are usually interesting and idiosyncratic, but he struggles to write the hits.
Considering he's an amazing singer and frontman first and foremost, not a singer songwriter, the fact he's a solid songwriter is more of an extra feather in his cap than a limitation.

I thought this as well, but why would he get a credit for it if he didn't have any input? It's not like he wanted credit on all the songs since he didn't get credits for Paper Crown or Chinatown.

The album credits said he did. I'm sure he just contributed a lyric here and there ("I'll see what's in your mind" sounds like one of his, and so does the random reference to a classic rock song in 'Come Back to Me'), but still...

Done. Very quickly without much thought, just instinct.
I’ve All I Need got the perfect 10/10. What a song! Britpop bliss.

It’s standard industry practice to give the performer a writing credit when they’ve done sweet fuck all in reality. Look at Beyoncé and co.

What does it say that his output on Oasis worst album is currently rated his best? Even with the small sample size as it is... That is super weird, right?

I think Songbird and BOADC are the best two songs on HC,
BOADC in particular is the only song I really listen to from that era

One's great, one had potencial to be the greatest of the álbum and the last one... 🙃 Songbird worked perfect for HC and what it could've/should've been (a stripped back, acoustic-based album). Born on a Different Cloud would've worked well on SOTSOG and with a different arrangement. There's some parts and pieces that should be in different places than where they were in the finished form. Better Man could've been good had Liam gone back and worked on the lyrics more. The instrumentation isn't too bad on it. It's not like Probably All in the Mind, which doesn't have too much going on in it and is very clearly derivative.
