... if all the big parties agree. You see, I read this article on a dutch football site:
I'll translate it for you guys.
Now that the biggest joy about winning the final is finally fading away in the hearts of Liverpool and its fans, they're beginning to realize they won't be in the Champions League next season.
The absence of the cupholder is because of them failing to place themselves fourth in the Premier League, at the cost of citymate Everton, who kept L'pool behind and got the last ticket from the FA.
Although the increasing pressure, the European football association (UEFA) does not seem to change his mind and let a fifth English team into the Champions League. Llansantffraid, champion of Wales, who's known as TNS since 1997 is prepared to give Liverpool another chance.
Here's the idea: Llansantffraid and Liverpool will play one match against eachother, possibly in the Millenium Stadium and the winner will go to the Champions League preliminary rounds, so suggests TNS boss Tom Harris.
For the champion of Wales the duel would be 'a good way to improve the image of our football,' stated Harris. 'And Liverpool will get the chance to defend their title. With the approval of the UEFA, FA and our association our future in the Champions League will not be in danger.'
GREAT NEWS!!! Don't know what he means with the last sentence though.
