I kind of asked a similar question with relation to Soundgarden.
Obviously, either side of the Atlantic, AiC and Oasis were two of the most important rock bands of the 1990s. Though they were stylistically quite different. Did Oasis and AiC ever cross paths at any point? Given Noel has spoken both positively and negatively most bands popular from this time, surely he'd have said something about AiC? I could just about see Noel liking some of their accoustic work (eg. Jar Of Flies).

Before anyone comes in and says "Alice in who?" I want to acknowledge their greatness. Layne Staley, that was ONE. HELL. OF. A. VOICE.

What the fuck was that about? They should have changed the name, then it wouldn't have been as weird.

Some of the vocal melodies in "I Hope, I Think, I Know" remind me of those in "Dam That River", my favourite Alice In Chains song actually, one of the songs from their 1992 album Dirt. From the chorus at about 1:05 in "IH,IT,IK" then about 1:21 seconds in "Dam That River".
