This guy is full of shit, so is Tony McCaroll, when it comes to talking about stories about working with Liam at the valet place.
McCaroll said him and Liam did something or other to Beckham's Ferrari. Beckham was still a kid in the youth team when they worked at this place, so he didn't have a Ferrari. This other guy also talked about them doing Cantona's car when Liam worked there. Cantona was a Leeds player then.
They talk bollocks for a few quid.

The only Oasis book I look forward to is when Noel writes either his auto-biogarphy or memoirs. (I have no time for reading about his third tour with NGHFB, though. Yawnfest).

I preordered it, can never resist an (alleged) Oasis book, but today I got the message that the delivery will be delayed. There we go again! Just like a few years ago when it ALMOST was published the first time.

When it comes to Oasis I tend to read and watch pretty much everything and decide what I think the truth is. It won't be what's in this book, but it also won't be Noel's stories.

I'll wait and see what readers here think. I'm curious. This big un guy appears from time to time and seems to have some bits and pieces of tell of the early days. Doesn't necessarily mean the book will be an insight but we'll find out.

I’ve only just starting reading it, but THIS is how you do a music biography. A proper Oasis book like this would be brilliant, they have plenty of material. www.amazon.co.uk/Beastie-Boys-Book-Michael-Diamond/dp/057130804XX

The guy is a dick. Would never read that anyway, nor will I ever read Tony McCarrolo’s book. Absolute no chance.

Oh why? Out of 3 Oasis books I've read it's probably my favourite. Much better than Getting High. I fail to see how something titled THE TRUTH, and written by a disgruntled former band member would be in any way unbiased. Well it seems a lot more factual than Paolo Hewitt's books, for example, which seem to be written totally from a fan perspective. In Getting High he says that Live Forever was written before Noel even joined Oasis. Of course I liked reading it but it's basically same as Noel's interviews; sure it's entertaining but everything you hear should be taken with a grain of salt. The same could be said about Tony's book but his view at least sounded more honest. And he wasn't even bashing Noel all the time, and not all of his stories were about the band only. He was also blaming drugs for Noel's behaviour, instead of Noel himself, and I have no reason not to believe that cocaine can turn someone into an egoistic vagina. That's exactly what it does and that's also why people like using it.

I enjoyed Tony McCarrolo’s book. He came as a good guy and I think it's quite unfair of Noel to keep bashing him. I feel sorry for him when I read how he was treated by Noel, but like Day Tripper mentioned, he didn't only write negative things about Noel in his book. There were also cherish memories of 5 lads and their mates in Burnage in early 90's. I wish Tony all the best. He was one of the lads and will remain.
