Smile every time I get to that bit where Damon forgets the lyrics. I'm glad they kept that in. It's very endearing.

Prefer how the drums sound on this live performance than on the record.

The song has grown on me. Love the tragic side of Damon

Great track. Great lyrics too.
Albarn is a special and creative writer. The likes of which someone like Noel could only dream of being.

I just find it hard to enjoy a full post 97 Gallagher album these days. Gets boring quick #thereisaidit But it's probably because I've changed a lot over the years, you know, I have a great beard now

Noel was (mostly) on fire from 94-97. Damon has had at least 2 incredible stints in music (Blur/Gorillaz). He tries different types of music. He also NEVER stops making music, unlike lazy Noel. I like Noel just as much as Damon, but I would never defend Noel’a laziness when someone like Damon constantly shows him up in that department

Damon's output compared to Noel's after '97 is in a totally different league. and the Blur self titled album is better than any oasis album, in my opinion.

Love Merrie Land (track). Gun To The Head doesn't say nothing to me at all. Those flutes and the chorus are terrible imo. But the first track of the album wins me all over

Can it be worse than last Gorillaz album ? It's gotta be hard, innit.

The Now Now was pretty great. The opening song for this album got my hype up there. Great and beautiful tune

Out today, just listened to it through
A very enjoyable listen, a nicely crafted album. For anyone unsure, that second song they put out (Gun To The Head) is by far the worst song on the record, because otherwise its very good. I particularly like Ribbons. Nineteen Seventeen and Poison Tree also highlights!

The Now Now didn’t make much of an impression on me. I loved that tune ‘Sorcererz’, though. And the instrumental one was pretty funky.

Giving this a spin today. Can’t. Believe it’s been 11 years since their debut.
