How do the years work? It seems like from the first post that the 2019 inductees are nominated in 2018(?). So would Oasis be nominated next year (2019) for 2020? |

I voted for Kraftwerk, MC5, The Cure, Todd Rundgren, and The Zombies. No need for me to vote for Rage or Radiohead as they will surely get a majority of votes.
Just remember the "Fame" part of "Hall of Fame." It's a popularity contest and talent has very little to do with it. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

Waste of time, means absolutely nothing. I just hate the idea of the Hall just commercializing the event. Does that make sense? It’s so self serving and political. It’s making it into a sports type thing when it’s really about emotions and art which shouldn’t be judged or voted on and then exploited. So many artist have such interesting takes on the Hall, including people already in it. All blasting it. |

The concept of a Hall of Fame is fine, but the execution as put forth in this case is atrocious. Set up to be nothing more than an annual marketing blitz. At least they haven't voted in Harold Baines yet.  |

You know damn well that Radiohead won't show up. But they are deserving of it, not a total fan of them but for the Bends and Ok Computer plus the balls to release a album like Kid A. They deserve a spot. great to see Roxy Music and The Zombies in there.The Cure as someone above said is a no brainer.

Last year they had a tour date in South America the same day as the induction. They had it planned long before the picks came out. No way they would cancel it. |
