Re: Another update -- "It's Never Too Late To Be What U Might Have Been" is now exporting. What took so long? My main video editor shit the bed today, lag everywhere m8.
Runtime is 28:52 which is the same runtime as the source video and audio from TIDAL, considering I recorded the audio directly with my soundcard and used some cap software for video. But it shall be available soon to my freaking surprise. It looks so good guys. I can't wait for you to see it!

Update: It's at this point I'm losing my mind over this. I fear this is going nowhere. Everything I'm doing seems to not want to work out. My ears hurt, they really do.
Edit: I guess we'll settle it at EOTR.

Been doing some correcting on the SOTSOG demos. 'Carry Us All' demo #1 is great because all that requires is a bit of centering, though it's a bit of a pain because all centering means is panning everything correctly so nothing is too loud in one channel, or the other. With the Carry Us All demo, thankfully, that's all that needs to be done. Since the rips consist of tape noise, centering tape audio basically cleans that all up. Add some reverb that the track is supposed to have, and you've got a clean demo recording of 'Carry Us All'.
I might post it, too. "Who Feels Love?" will be deleted. There's not a lot that I'm happy with here. I made more mistakes, and then some. But there will be more 'corrections'. Don't worry, something will get done.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I've been accepted into the University from where I live.

I've posted this demo before, but not with the corrections I've made. For this one, the mix does have a bit of a watermark in it. For whatever reason, a bit is missing in the 'Ahhh' part toward the bridge. But that can be remedied down the road.
Everything has been properly centered, and the tape hissing with the drums I did not in fact fix, but I did apply a slight bit of reverb to it to account for some ambience in the mix.
This should be wildly improved compared to the original demo mix currently floating around. And this is from the same source of demos floating around, so don't get any ideas. This is just a correction.

Again, another example of what to look forward to when I get to it. Reverb has been added to Noel's guitar track, and Noel's vocals have also been retouched with treble. Other than that, everything has been normalised, centered and dee-esed. Tape whirr actually adds to this track... What a twist! Like--whaaaa? Enjoy.
Also, if you've been saving these with YouTube-to-MP3 converters, I wouldn't recommend it. They sound great in 126kbps, yes. But they also are not best represented this way. Quality dips by the time YouTube pounds it with compression, so downloading these videos as-is I do not recommend it. Again, enjoy.

I'm also trying to fix/correct and upscale "Where Did It All Go Wrong" music video to whatever looks best. It's obvious now, I am a SOTSOG purist.
I think I will stick with it's original 25 frames as I am using 2 sources. "What corrections?" you might ask. Well, when I first got into Oasis, I was immediately annoyed that their videos weren't in their original 4:3 aspect ratios. I'm leaving the audio alone, and only want to make subtle corrections, but the aspect ratio is what bothers me. I know there's a Widescreen version, but the person who uploaded that 720p widescreen version applied scan lines to his version. Don't know how, but maybe their TV set was set to add scan lines to a progressive 30/60fps signal. Alas, it is on the way.
Edit: Grammar. Also, I went with 16:9 instead. Cropped to shit but looks decent. Had to export in 120fps to avoid the choppiness of the source video. Don't know what that will look like as it is exporting right now.

What did you think about the acoustic version of If I Had a Gun that was included on the Back The Way We Came compilation? I think it uses the original tracks from the single. To me at least it sounds better, I agree with what the others said about the drums sounding like shit on the original song so to have it stripped down like that really helps it
