I don't know why he needs to talk about masturbation now but ok. Well known story, nothing new, It's funny it had became such a big story since it's been known for ages. I can't remember where I read it but I've known about it for a long time.

So a bit late to the Macca party but I am a dad now and don't get as much time to do, we'll anything these days! Also I needed a few listens to appreciate the complexity of some of the tracks.
Despite Repeated Warnings is fantastic!! Happy With You, Come On To Me and I Don't Know are my other favourites.
If this was his last ever album it would be ending on a high.. Even though his last recorded lyric would be "I've been naked for so long now"! 😂
I've said before he should give up the live gigs now though.

All that weird talking about masturbation and what not seemed to have helped, 'cause it came in at #2 in the Dutch album top100. Also, I noticed I have never heard of about 30 of the artists in said top 100. Who are all these people?! That's it then, I'm officially out of the loop when it comes to new "music". Pop is being dominated by Drake (good artist but well past his prime), Post Malone (eh), and other hip-hop stars at the moment. Some, like Travis Scott, Kanye, or Eminem, are great artists, but some like Cardi B or Migos are not. I'd say the charts are the usual mix of talent and generic rubbish as usual. Just no guitars anymore, sorry guys

Just no guitars anymore, sorry guys What makes you say drake is well past his prime ? Not in terms of sales, obviously he's ridiculously massive right now, but artistically. Projects like Take Care, If You're Reading this it's too Late, and Never Was the Same have a well-crafted sound as well as being consistent and to-the-point. I'm not a personal fan but I can see the appeal and respect him for having such an impact with his sound (although Kanye and Cudi allowed it to happen before him) on both the radio and his genre as a whole. Since then though? Oh boy. Views, More Life, and now Scorpion just feel like bland, bloated, streamwhore marketing...things. They don't feel like albums, they're just Drake (and his writers) stuffing as much generic pop-rap onto an album as is humanly possible and then having Spotify forcing it down everyone's throat on every single playlist. You get the occasional bop like Nice For What and the video for In My Feelings but they're lost under the tidal wave of bland, easy-to-write Radio Friendly Unit Shifters. And he's just so fucking corny now it's hard to be enthusiastic at all. The guy has spent like 75% of the year at #1, though, so what do I now?

I did really like more life though. Anyway turns out he’s probs a peado so who cares tbh :/

I did get the CD promised with tickets from the show last Oct.
Really have listened a lot to songs 9 through 16. Beginning with Hand in Hand. This is the type of song I usually wouldn't appreciate from his later records. Something about the melody and instrumentation just keeps me coming back though. As others have said, seems the second half really shines.

Paul's "I love it!" @ 1:37. That's the most Scouse I've ever heard him. How does that happen, after not having lived in Liverpool for 55 years?? Still, I like it. It's nice to hear.
