With Noel being a lot more creative and seeming a lot happier, and Liam absolutely smashing it - do you want the boys to reunite? We all want them to be friends again, I'm sure - but I don't think we all want them to actually form Oasis again.
Personally, I will always want them to reunite, but a small part of me would feel that it was a bit fake. Oasis' charm was the two of them being young, wild and stupid. They aren't either of those things anymore.

Yes. And they will. For those of us too young to have seen them first time around it would be life changing. Liam's gigs are some of the most amazing things I've ever experienced in my life. Oasis getting back together will be beyond words. And it will happen. Within 20 years it'll have happened.

No thanks. I'm enjoying both Liam and Noel's solo careers.

I want one more album of Noel's songs sung by Liam.

No, not for me.
But it would be interesting to see the differences in responses according to age. I’m sure a fair few of the younger folk on here would be more keen - your 18-20 year olds who were only about 8-10 when they split up (was 18 myself and on this forum when they split, terrifying how quickly that’s gone).

My ideal Oasis/Gallagher schedule for the next decade would be:
2019: Liam Gallagher's 2nd Solo Album released March 2019; Oasis Reunion announced with Noel, Liam, Bonehead, Gem and Chris; Oasis Definitely Maybe tour in August & September 2019 2020: Noel Gallagher's 4th Solo Album released May 2020; Oasis Morning Glory tour in October 2021: Oasis announce Loch Lomond and Knebworth 'Revisited' Shows for August 2021 and an EP of unreleased recordings; Oasis 'From the Vault' collection (an annual collection rare recordings, including the Death in Vegas sessions) announced for December; Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds 10th anniversary reissue (including scrapped Amorphous Androgynous recordings) released in October . 2022: Oasis Be Here Now Tour August 2023: Noel Gallagher's 2nd Collaboration with David Holmes released. 2024: Liam Gallagher's 3rd Solo Album released 2025: Break 2026: Oasis: Falling Down (Supersonic sequel) released in Cinemas and on DVD 2027: Noel's 6th Solo Album released, Liams 4th Solo album released 2028: Break 2029: Full Oasis reunion to mark 20th anniversary of Oasis split including new album(s).
Will never happen but it's good to dream.

Only if there is no album. And if there is an album, it has to be 100% written by Noel (Barring the odd tune from Liam, depending on the quality).

Would be great to see them play together again. But I’m not sure a reunion could ever live up to the hype...

Of course, and they will.
Liam's gigs are great to watch, but I so miss Noel doing backing vocals on Cigarettes & Alcohol or playing the solo's correctly.
When they reunite it will be High Flying Birds + Liam. With Bonehead playing some with some songs on the encore. I don't think we will see Tony, Guigs, Alan or Andy ever peform with Noel or Liam again.

I don't know where any of you are getting your optimism from. Noel hates the guy, and he is KNOWN to hold a grudge for an awfully long time

It would feel like a Noel and Liam album, not an Oasis album. Oasis is gone. Might as well call it "the Gallagher brothers" instead.

It was a no from me. I'm enjoying solo careers more than I did latter day Oasis. Maybe a few limited greatest hits mega gigs but as a full time endeavour I'd rather keep what we have.

I voted Yes, obvs.
But how many reunions are a success? Most are very short lived and just produce an uninspired money making last ditch ploy.
I'll also note here that the Stone Roses 'reunion' was an absolute farce.

Bar 2006 where Roger's voice was shite. The balance were good times. Coincidentally that was when they released the Endless Wire album. Also crap.

Only if there is no album. Actually I'm the opposite - love to hear a new Oasis studio album but not fussed about a subsequent live tour or show.

At this stage, no.
I'm at peace with it. I never got to see them and tbf now I'm not sure i'd want to, not really, other than for the chance to say I got to be there.
Musically, I think Noel is on a different level at the moment (not necessarily better, but different, obviously) and I think what Liam has done in the last year or so is great.
It's brilliant to have them both on top of their games.
