According to the bbc website everton are in with a £4m bid for mikael forssel. Quality player him. Wouldn't mind seeing him at goodison. With all these bids we're putting in lately anyone would think we're chelsea or somethin ;D

We're rumoured to be after cudicini. Class keeper but i don't think we'll land him, if we do though he'll be the perfect replacement for big Nige.

well United let Carroll and Ricardo (not the porteguse internatiomal) go, so a keeper will definitly be signed. 1st choice most likely as Howard has signed a new contract. Personally I think Tim Howard is a rather good keeper and deserves a long stint in goal. The only keepers I would like to see replace him would be Given, Casilles or Seb Frey.

We'll probably finish above spurs though lad ;D A few decent signings and we could still push for a european place next season. After some hard seasons, finally things are starting to look up for us.

Figo's been released. Apparantly spurs are in the running for him. I dunno whether anyone in the prem would have him though, his wages will be over the top and he's overrated anyway. I reckon he'll probably finish up in portugal or something.

BENITEZ CHASES £10 MILLION AIMAR Team Talk 01 June 2005 Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has made Valencia playmaker Pablo Aimar his main target this summer. The Argentine midfielder, valued at £10m, has a good relationship with Benitez - the man who brought him to Europe when he was coach of Valencia - and Aimar would relish a chance in the Premiership. "Benitez is an excellent coach who knows me well and Liverpool would be an ideal place to go if I can't sort out my future here," said the 28-year-old. "English football is the best in Europe next to Spain and I do not think I'd have a problem adapting to the Premiership." The European Cup winners are also said to be chasing Real Zaragoza defender Gabriel Milito. Milito is one of the most highly-rated defenders in La Liga but Zaragoza may be forced to sell as they struggle with debts approaching £30m. This story has been reproduced from today's media and is not necessarily the position of Liverpool FC.

he's been a bit off this season from what ive seen, i reckon benitez could get the best out of him though and its a time in his carear when he should be at his peak so im hopefull on him.
I wish benitez would sign someone whos proven at premiership level though because i get nervous about signings from different leagues. Just because someones class in spain doesnt mean they will be in england due to different styles of football and how well they can adapt.

Not much has happened really has it?
Darren Bent - Ipswich to Charlton Simon Davies - Tottenham to Everton Yakubu Aiyegbeni - Portsmouth to Middlesbrough Edwin van der Sar - Fulham to Manchester United
Latest rumours round are way say Pompey are in for Laurent Robert, Youssef Hadji, Trianos Dellas and Benoit Pedretti. Up front they want either Peter Crouch to come back or Mikael Forssell (what happend with him and Everton by the way?)

I heard that forsell failed his medical. Dunno if it's true though. Looks like parker will go to chelsea cos of his wage demands. Apparantly birmingham are unveiling a new signing tomorrow and kaladze has said he has agreed personal terms with chelsea, good player him.

Luque to the redmen, we have had one bid rejected, looks like we'll up the bid. Looks like Arsenal are gonna sign Alexander Hleb from Stuggart which opens the door for SWP to us, hopefully.
