If you say you don't watch it you're a liar. Yes, 90% of the songs are shit, but who gives a shit? It's not like it's about the song quality anyway, it's simply about getting entertained. And yes I'll admit it, kind of about reliving your childhood as well. Don't tell me I'm the only one looking forward to this?

I LOVE Eurovision, especially as the best winner of all time Alexander Ryback will be BACK.
Also will the UK come last or will we defy odds to be second last instead??? HYPED.

Btw, hope I'm not the only one outraged by the fact that they have shortened the presentation of the votes? I loved when it took at least an hour.

Since it's only once a year I really can't remember the differences apart from the fact that it doesn't take as long Because the old way showed a clear winner since the jury+public vote were given at once, but because the public votes are given at the end now it changes the game as who knows where the points will go??? My old man just said he's boycotting Eurovision as long as Israel is participating I think he'd like Primal Scream and Bobby Gillespie's views😂 I don't know whether Israel participating is a reason to boycott the ESC but from a geographical point of view, Australia participating is even more weird. 😂 They only made their way in because they have many people watching it. |

Belarus were hilariously bad yesterday, but it was just the right kind of bad. It made me laugh in a way that I only do when I watch Eurovision. Any good(relatively speaking) songs then? Well, I actually kinda liked Israel. Absolutely mental, but catchy. I thought Belgium deserved to go through as well, but apparently they wanted that horrendous Czech rapper instead |

Every year they have some entertaining song Serbia were decent. Also nice to hear people sing in their own language, so you're able to pretend that the lyrics aren't shit. Which they most likely are. They were so bad it was... just bad. That chorus might honestly be the worst chorus I've ever heard. Glad it hasn't stuck to my brain though. |

I watch it. Every year. All of it (except for last year, when I missed half of the second semi-finals including our own act). Love the hysteria, the weird stuff.
Twitter is also a very fun place during all of this.
Must say I nearly fell asleep during both semi finals this time though. Man, it was boring! So many ballads and predictable songs.
I'm very glad we went through. We got revealed as the last act to go through to the finals and I really lost hope as Poland and some East European country I forgot hadn't been mentioned yet. Country is not my cup of tea, but Waylon is by far the best singer of the bunch and put on a great show. Also, we really stood out.
San Marino had the worst song yesterday, IMO. Christ did they suck or what? Bad song, rip off of Sweden's winning song from a couple of years ago, badly sung, stupid acts. Also thought the Danish vikings were boring. Nice choreography, guys!
Didn't like Slovenia either. They had a moment of silence in their song, which came across as very forced and hysterical. The Netherlands did that in their song 2 years ago and it was much more natural.
What else? Oh Serbia (I think) gave me a gigantic headache. How that one went through is beyond me.
Also glad Russia didn't go through. I'm wondering if they sent a physically impaired woman in order to get sympathy votes. The song was melody less and you could not understand a word she was singing (and neither could she as she couldn't speak english and the song was in english).
Going back to Tuesday, Israel was of course hysterical with the singing chicken. It will end high. So will Cyprus, which is basically the Lidl version of Beyoncé, and a very horny lne too.
I remember Belarus was awful and so was Lithuania, but the latter did go through.
Belgium was out which was surprising.
God, wonder who will win. It's a good thing a lot of those East European countries are out though. Takes off a bit of the whole nepotism vibe that hangs around Eurovision, I hope.
