Waste of an hour of my life really. Virtually nothing new in this and lots of repitition of earlier segments of the show. Pretty crap IMO.

I think the issue seems to be that Liam was probably abit too laid back about letting Noel take control of oasis is my thoughts. Noel was obviously older than Liam when oasis started and therefore probably had a more level head on his shoulders. He probably understood the business aspect more than Liam who likely was just having a good time and didnt much care to ensure that he could retain some control over oasis from a legal standpoint. I dont much understand the ins and outs of who owns what but there is clearly some blanket of power that Noel has if he can even block songs that Liam wrote. That is rather ridiculous to me if we are purely talking about who wrote what but if Liam allowed that to happen then Noel has the legal power to do it. Its that simple. Liam being the songwriter of the songs shouldve had enough power to retain the rights to those songs if he was actively trying to make it happen. we can talk about them both making the songs what they are but legally Noel has the power. Its something that Liam probably shouldve been harder on and not let Noel have quite so much freedom in what happens with oasis. Liam has essentially been reduced to a operating member of oasis and not a controlling member. legally speaking, Oasis is Noels band. Noel was and still is very calculated. Like you say, if Liam had any sort of advisors around him then he could and should have made sure that he got publishing rights to his own material but why would he at that point? Liam actually created the name Oasis too. Even Noel admitted he also managed to blag half the rights to that too. Would have been very complicated if he still had all those rights too. To be honest I dont think Liam would have requested to use any of his own Oasis songs anyway. Theyd have wanted Live Forever at One Love and maybe a bit of Fuckin In The Bushes and Rock n Roll star throughout but nothing like I'm Outta Time or Born on a different cloud was ever gonna be needed. I can totally see Liams point where hes pissed off that all the members dont have some rights with those songs though. I totally get that the law is the law and Noel has those rights, but those songs wouldn't exist without Liam Gallaghers greatness. Let's not buy the bullshit that eventually Live Forever and Wonderwall would be heard because they're that good. No, Noel joining Liams band and having an amazing voice of his younger brother to create them is why those songs exist. End of.

Hell I didn't even like Oasis until I heard LG's solo stuff.
And I respect Noel's talent as a writer, his singing voice does nothing for me.
I really like his performance on Little By Little but that's pretty much it and for his solo stuff only a handful of songs from WBTH have made it onto my iPhone. But if I had to choose I'm definitely Team Liam

Bigging the film up is obviously the point of doing promo but the way this Charlie guy is bigging himself up is a bit over the top for me. Kinda surprised that - if true - he's such close friends with Liam. Seems a bit of an arselicker really

Yes, Liam made them. Noel made them. Oasis made them. And they are getting used which is the important thing. But like you said, it's a shame, but that's not how it works. Not how life works either. They're both equally as to blame for keeping the rivalry going. And let's face it, it helps them both.

Glad to see the footage of the pub is included in Ireland when he first sang bold, where’s the best places to pre order the Blu Ray apart from Amazon?
Can’t decide weather to book tickets for the screening or not on Thursday with the Blu Ray being out next Monday , is the live performance before or after the film ?

My friends in Manchester will watch the film and Liam's live performance from London in a cinema tomorrow evening.

The German supplier I ordered it of via amazon.de claims to have already sent it on its way Tuesday! That's the puzzling good news (how is that possible if it has not been released yet?), the bad ones is that they claim it will arrive sometime between Friday and Friday next week. The one I ordered from amazon.co.uk has not been dispatched yet.

how is that possible if it has not been released yet? Stores always get the stuff prior to release day. Where do you think the usual leaks come from?

I thought tomorrow was the only day the film was being screened in cinemas? But I came across one indie cinema that's showing it for about 1 week

But I came across one indie cinema that's showing it for about 1 week probably just more a case that cinemas only want to screen it for one day due to the level of demand. If they want it for longer they can probably have it.

Anyone else off to the cinema to see it tonight?
Starting to like this music shit in the cinema. The Stones in Cuba, Supersonic and now this the past few years.
Is the live gig after the Hackney one from last night or a live one?
