I love the album version, I love that druggy haze atmosphere sound throughout the song.
It’s the same beat all the way through
This is one of the best things about the song.

Shitty lyrics? "I can't tell you the way I feel, because the way I feel is oh so new to me" is a GREAT piece of lyricism. On a loop, it looses just how great a lyric it is

The best ever live performance of Columbia. The passion!! How can you not like this monumental track!! Live it works, it's just the album version I don't like. Also it was the perfect choice to be at the beginning of Supersonic and it was fabulous in the cinema but that's because it was mostly a live version they used

The best ever live performance of Columbia. The passion!! How can you not like this monumental track!! Could this be the best live performance of any song they ever did? I love Whitey's drumming on this one. Immeasurably superior to the album version.

Columbia is the nuts - an acid fueled romp of a tune.

One of my favs is the Lighthouse Poole version in 2004...the audience version...the drums sounds bigger and heavier.

The studio version of Fade Away is a terrible recording. I could never imagine swapping that in place of Columbia.
It's a mad world for sure.

One of my favs is the Lighthouse Poole version in 2004...the audience version...the drums sounds bigger and heavier. Drums was played by Zak Starkey. Msybe that's why? Zak is a good drimmer, but I think Chris's drumming suits more to Oasis. I didn't like Zak's drumming on Bring It On Down.

Columbia is the nuts - an acid fueled romp of a tune. God bless this acid house.

It's amazing.
It came on the radio a month back, and playing it full blast with the bass settings turned up...so good.
Gets you so buzzin.

It took me a while to “get” this song but fuck me it’s incredible. Top 10 Oasis for me.
