Where did you locate the files? Amazing recon job by you! Ha no, I didn't recon this - the file I uploaded is the original file from 1999. I was just pointing out if you wanted a better version it could be done by recreation. I mean where did you find the file? |

I didn't have a computer until spring 2000, & I was impatiently counting the days until the releases of "Go let it out" & then "Standing of the shoulder of giants" (which I skipped school to go buy on the very day of its release). It's only recently that I learned the whole album had been leaked months before, & the demos as well; I had no idea at the time that such leaks even existed. Was the entire album badly ripped like this, or just "Where did it all go wrong"? If all the songs were accidently double-tracked with a delay, it might have yielded other serendipitous good results (I'm thinking of "Gas panic" with the solo repeated on the outro). |

I have Go Let It Out, Who Feels Love, Put Yer Money, Little James and WDIAGW from that rip. Only WDIAGW has the issue, so it seemed to be a Side 2 issue. I can't remember if the other tracks were released - my gut feeling says no, but I'm pretty sure I remember hearing Roll it Over with the same issues. The memory is a bit flakey these days, but I seem to really Fuckin in the Bushes being the first to leak, from a radio broadcast, then some live acoustic versions of Who Feels Love and SMC and then this leak around Christmas. |

I honestly don’t recall any bad rips at the time. They all sounded great. As great as an MP3 leak could sound in January 2000. Amazing times. It took 20 min to download each song! Just wild man! |

Somewhere I have a CD booklet that I took to college in summer 2000. That booklet definitely had a burned copy of that original leak. Granted I have no idea where that CD booklet is. |

Yeah Fuckin’ In The Bushes was the first and the acoustic versions came from an American radio station during the late 1999 mini tour. I can remember buying a bootleg cd from The Barrowland market with them on it. Do you still have the original Heathen Chemistry leak deadman? |

Listening to it for the first time possibly since the year it was released - very little.  Not only is the old memory going, maybe my hearing is as well  - I must have thought there was enough different back then to salvage it from the original leak. |
