It’s kinda a strange one for Noel to sing IMO. Conventional wisdom would probably have had Liam sing this and Noel maybe do Don’t Go Away.

The live version of Magic Pie never gave the song any justice infact I always thought it was even worse than the album version.

Yeah, the song would have sounded better if Liam had sang it. As for the acoustic version it's ok and it's much better than the album version or the electric live version.

I'm gonna concur and agree that I'd have liked Noel to have sung Don't Go Away. Liam's voice is great but he's very limited in his performance and doesn't do it for me in these gentler more sentimental songs.

I fucking love this tune. Always have.
Been listening to this live performance a couple times a day after I recently found it. Phenomenal - and Noel’s passion here is superb.
I actually really like the lyrics. The ‘magic pie’ phrase could be my only gripe, but magic pie is subjective and open to interpretation - I like that.
The album version drags on to fuck. The live version is so much better.
Fuck you haters.

Not even Elvis’ vocals, not even Orpheus vocals could save this song sorry. It’s simply not good enough for BHN (considering all the expectations), after DYKWIM and My Big Mouth it’s like cold shower , immediately dampen your enthusiasm for this album
