Hey! Just wondering who else went to the Montreal show? I really enjoyed myself - I have never been disappointed with Noel. My crew was having a blast and jumping into every song. No voice by the end of the night. We had some awesome Argentines nearby too that were into every single second or every single song! What a great night! What a rockstar. There were some sound issues. I saw Gem, Noel and Jess gesturing to the side of the stage a bit... Maybe that threw them off? Perhaps it was the crowd? I don't know, as I did not pay much attention to those behind me. Based on Noel's Instagram post and lack of tweets about Montreal, I feel he didn’t have as much of a blast as we did Maybe it was the cold weather? Anyone else?

I was there. You could tell he wasn't particularly having fun but he did remain on top form musically which is nice. Very little interaction with the crowd which is unusual on good nights.
There clearly were sound problems indeed. Gem was gesturing for quite a while during Go Let It Out, we couldn't hear the bass which is kind of the center piece of Go Let It Out, we couldn't hear Charlotte during It's a Beautiful World (and the part we could hear were out of time) and we couldn't make out what Noel was saying on the very rare occasion he spoke to us. That's was disappointing. The girl doing vocals on Let The Lord Shine a Light on Me was too intense from the start IMO.
Most of it was musically enjoyable. But that was it. It was nothing spectacular.

Crikes...id want me money back...😣 I know! Plus there was a mixup when I bought the tickets and I ended up on the far end of a balcony. I didn't know the venue had the same name for seats in different part of the room. That was my mistake but it didn't help in any way. I was looking forward to hearing Fort Knox live but I missed it because I was running around the halls looking for the right door to the right seat (I had been in the wrong seat for 40 minutes before the show). I didn't come here for a week before the show because I wanted the setlist to be a surprise and was hoping he would play The Man Who Build The Moon which he didn't. That was another dispointment. Apparently they were giving tickets away at the door because it didn't sell so well. I read that in an article by a grumpy journalist who also had a bad night. But you can't schedule a show on a Sunday night and expect it to be full. Had I known that I wouldn't have been on that balcony. All in all a very very shitty night.

I must admit im not going to bother gettin tickets to see Noel...for various reasons...he just dulls me at the moment and the setlist doesnt excite me😴

Toronto was inspirational.

That gig had an 85% sell-out so it's weird they'd be giving tickets away. Sorry to hear you had a bad night. Shit happens!

At least he didn't botch the gig! As for the tickets being given away, I didn't see or hear that when I was there. Given the journalist's attitude and the contemptuous way he wrote the article, I doubt that's true.
