Why is this not a thread? £65 for 3 days of music across the glorious Steel City with Noel headlining Hillsborough Park on Saturday night.
I've bought my ticket but genuinely won't go if he hasn't dropped Dream On by then.
Anyone who's not a prick can sleep on my floor for a low, low price. Pricks can sleep on my balcony.

Are they likely to release day tickets for this nearer the time or not?
The website says its weekend only but I've known others contradict that nearer the time.
And before anyone says 'it's only £x price' I've got to pay for three of the fuckers.

Last year there were a few buy one get one frees left at the end but the headliners weren't as big.

Is anyone from here actually going to this? Nobody from work can be bothered so I'm getting tempted to sell my ticket.

Not bothering with the Sunday, like. And I'm probably looking forward to Stereophonics more than Noel purely because I saw Noel twice in May.

I see there is a tram strike, so this will now be the Lines festival. X

Looks like I've got myself a 2.7 mile walk. I can live with that.
90% sure I won't go to Stereophonics. tbh I haven't even bothered looking at the rest of the bill.

If you like their hits, go. It's a great set for a casual fan. If you're into them, or ever have been in the past, then go. They're superb. The best British band about at live shows when it comes to absolutely nailing it every time. Brilliant musicianship from all of them, and Kelly's voice is, if anything, getting better. Saturday is a decent line up. Rev & The Makers, Blossoms and then Noel.

We did see a middle-aged man in a suit piss and shit himself, then miss his stop on the train home, so it wasn't a total loss. I'm going out after work and if turns out that we're finishing early then I might head over since I've paid for the ticket, but I doubt it. Looking at the website, it seems like the whole thing's in Hillsborough this year? That's a bit weird. In previous years they've spread it around the city. Last year I only went to Libertines at Ponderosa, Lucy Spraggan at Dev Green (I have a thing about supporting Lucy Spraggan since the X Factor did fuck all for her after the most horrific incident) and the Beatles Project at Endcliffe Park and I still felt like I'd got value for money. Will PM you my number btw. I think I'm going with someone from work but otherwise can regale you with my many Oasis-following anecdotes.

Annoyingly, looks like it'll only be a 1hr 15m set...

Offloaded my ticket. Would've been nice to see him but not worth the hassle for a short set that will probably include one of my most disliked songs of his, given that there's not much else over the weekend I wanted to see. Might make my way to the Folk Forest for the Beatles tribute on Sunday afternoon. That was brilliant last year.
