Donald Trump’s thoughts on Noel’s version of GLIO.... look at his tiny hands.. he never had the makings of a varsity athlete.

I liked this version, if he sprung that out at a gig and I wasn't expecting it I'd have creamed myself. As far as I'm concerned he can sing whatever the fuck he likes, those tunes weren't born with Liam singing them.

Not having it.
He hasn't changed the arrangement, so it's lacking the Liam aggression and energy and snarl and attitude. Look at NGHFB rendition of other Liam sung songs (Supersonic, Champagne Supernova, etc) - Noel changed the arrangements for those. He changed nothing on GLIO. This actually is what an Oasis demo version of GLIO would be like. If you're missing Oasis this much, then just get over yourself and reunite the fucking band. Methinks someone could do with a massage. X

I can't take Noel seriously singing the words Go Let It Out when it sounds like he is holding so much in. Come on man, give it a bit of soul.

Love it. One of my fav tunes. The acoustic guitar, he's playing it like it's on the record. More then during the sotsog tour when it was all electric. Even the keyboards and the whistle just before the last chorus is pretty much like the record.

I like it. I agree that Liam’s version is stronger, but it was good, I don’t get the hate tbh.

I like it because it's a suprise. I liked Liam's DLBIA because it was a big suprise, same with Champagne Supernova by Noel, but I don't think it sounds good.

Well I enjoyed it. I thought it sounded great.
We need more surprises like this on the setlist NG.

Don't know why there's so many people saying it's odd hearing him sing it - the demo version with the Austin Powers sample has been around for years. But yeah, I like it. I liked the demo. I like the live version. Great to see Gem back in action on that solo.

If it’s the only new version we’re gonna get I’ll take it.

How can any proper oasis fan seriously complain about Noel playing a song that has been absent from the setlist for 15+ years?
I think this new rendition is great. The more surprises the better.

And while I agree with the sentiment that Liam's vocals are brilliant on this, the reason it wasn't played live after mid 2002 is because Liam couldn't handle it. And it shows that it's a great song that Noel's version imo is very good and works well in it's own right.

I like the backing, the band play it really well. Noel singing it isn't for me, to thin.

Band sound great. Not having Noel singing it though, sounds very weak. Fair play to him for chucking something different in though.

Is it just me or has he weirdly changed one chord? So it's D-F-<some B variant> instead of D-F-G? I've always played it this way. So, no... I don't find it weird. Well... minus the capo on the 2nd.

Don't like the way he sings it, like he isn't even trying. Love everything else.
But I'm glad he included something unexpected on the setlist.

For this song, I think Liam's voice from the record can't be topped. Not live. But I'm really happy he's doing it nevertheless and would love for him to do more surprising numbers like this. I'm looking forward to hearing it live instead of on YouTube to see if the vibe is different. These shitty cell phones... God, I wish they were banned from gigs. They do not capture it.
