Hi guys,
On the remastered issue of WTSMG it states Talk Tonight was recorded at Bath Pavilion? According to setlist.fm that song was never played at that gig?
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Cheers

Two options: 1. The song is labelled incorrect on the MG reissue. (The other songs aren't from Roskilde either) 2. The setlist on setlist.fm is wrong. It's the same setlist as Glastonbury a few days later but there isn't a bootleg from it so we can't verify it.

Pretty sure Talk Tonight was played live at Bath Pav. mate. They played that the night before Glasto and I'm sure I remember reading an interview in which Noel says how they were planning to do an acoustic segment at Glasto with Talk Tonight and Whatever right up until the last minute. Also flashbax how can you be sure the songs labelled as being at Roskilde weren't played at Roskilde? Just wondering, as Hello, Morning Glory and Some Might Say were all played at that gig?

I was at this gig and can confirm it was the same setlist as Glastonbury the night after, no acoustic songs were played. Best I ever saw them play too, to see them on the cusp of being massive, in a tiny sweaty venue and the band just absolutely on fire, what a night.

I thought the Roskilde songs were legit but from a worse quality recording than was already circulating?

The Version they used for Talk Tonight for the Deluxe Edition is from their perfomance at Brighton Centre on the 29th of December 1994.
