thequietus.com/articles/02621-oasis-split-what-next-for-noel-gallagerFrom 2009: "If Noel’s departure from Oasis hasn’t been so traumatic as to change plans, his next live appearance will be joining Amorphous Androgynous onstage at the sci-fi prison planet-resembling techno hangar Matter in the O2 complex on September the 17th. It seems unlikely they’ll be doing an acoustic set featuring ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’." 🤔

I think it was cancelled when he quit Oasis, presumably to avoid someone else's gig becoming a circus.

Pity - I would've enjoyed seeing that! I wonder what he was even gonna do with them on stage? Sing one of their tracks? Have an AA rework of an Oasis track? Some weird obscure psychedelic cover maybe?

I think it was cancelled when he quit Oasis, presumably to avoid someone else's gig becoming a circus. The whole event was first delayed to Oct, then cancelled, which was a shame as the AA have rarely played live. Noel was meant to join them to do Falling Down. www.residentadvisor.net/events/114874www.tapatalk.com/groups/hawkwindforum/hawkwind-amorphous-androgynous-date-change-please--t1876-s45.html“hi all - just putting out the following statement - We have just been told that AA have cancelled their album launch for "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble..." at The Matter @ O2 on October 30, therefore the Hawkwind performance at that event will no longer be taking place. We apologise on behalf of the organisers to all of our fans who have purchased tickets for this event, unfortunately it is beyond our control. Anyone with tickets will receive a full refund from the organisers. Contact the ticket agency where you purchased your ticket.”
