why would it be a class final, chelsea will destroy that pathetic liverpool team. lay off mate. had many injures to key players (Cisse, Alonso, Kewell, Baros, Gerrard), and a new manager. i'd like to see where Chelsea would be with the injuries we've had.

chelsea would still be top even with injuries. their squad is scary. they have qauilty to bring in for every position.

chelsea would still be top even with injuries. their squad is scary. they have qauilty to bring in for every position. unlikely. without robben they were playing boring football and scraping home with one-nils. if Liverpool and Chelsea swapping injuires it would be something like this: Cisse/Drogba, Baros/Gudjohnson, Gerrard/Lampard, Alonso/Makelele, Kewell/Robben. no matter how big Chelsea's squad is, you can't replace those players.

Agreed, any ball that drops in the six-yard box should be the keepers. I did not see the goal everybody is laughing about, but I did have front row seats to watch Tim play for 2 seasons in NYC, he was sound. I also read some reviews on the game in English papers calling some of his saves "heroic" , so is it his fault Manu lost ? Just wondering

Just wondering Well webby, to be fair I havent seen that much of him, but from what I've seen he looks like an excellent shot-stopper, but he seems to lack confidence at coming for crosses and balls fired into the box. The goal the other night, he should have claimed the ball when his defenders left it - it bounced in the six yard-box which is a criminal offence for a keeper IMO. He's only young though, so he has plenty of time to improve.

so is it his fault Manu lost ? Just wondering Well he did great throughout the match, just that 1 mistake cost us the game really. Before we scored he made a crucial save which was great, so he wasn't all bad. But IMO i think that we just didnt take our opportunities. Hardly any attempts on goal let alone on target. Fucking ridiculous!!! Ronaldo was piss poor AGAIN but Keane played great and nearly scored but just went wide. Will he ever get his 50th? lol. I guess we just have to look foward to the game against boro in the cup and keep on going. We can still do the treble yknow ;D
