It’s been a brilliant 2 days with all this press...all my family and friends have been texting me to tell me “your Liam’s” on the telly.... Haha, my folks call him that to me as well. I think it's something to do with Liam's character that encourages it--you wouldn't say "your Noel," would you? I remember reading a piece on him from the Be Here Now era where the journo described following him out of a pub and seeing a wife nudge her husband and go "Liam...," and the journo noted how she didn't say "Liam Gallagher" or "him out of Oasis"--just Liam, as if she knew him personally. Must be that 'what you see is what you get' aspect of his character that draws people in.
