I hope Noel gets more out there. While Who Built the Moon is more 'out there' than his prior work, obviously it isn't really 'out there' relative to more 'out there' artists. However, he slowly has been evolving that way and I hope he pushes it more. I have enough in his back catalogue to keep me satisfied and I have Liam if I ever want to hear the traditional stuff.
But in addition to the 'new sound' musically. I am really loving the way this era feels and looks. I love that he has female singers on stage (which is nothing special as many solo artists add that, especially when they get older). However, nobody has a woman on stage with a cape playing the scissors. It makes him stand out. I can't describe why I like new look but I just love how it is so 'NOT Oasis'.
The best part is that Charlotte in a cape on scissors was very natural. It is not like Noel said 'I need to add a woman on stage with a cape because it will give me weird credentials' it happened because Charlotte was the singer he selected for Beautiful World and she likes to wear capes and play scissors. THe Old Noel would have never stood for that but instead he embraced it. I've completely embraced the new look and hope he makes it evolves into something more bizarre next tour.

Hoping he doesn’t go full Rowland on the next tour. X
