Having watched the One Love, Glastonbury and early live shows his voice was excellent but having seen some recent live shows he seems to have gone back to the shouty, out of tune Oasis end-of-era type version. Has success gone to his head? It shouldn't because while he's been successful he needs to solidify the position rather than get carried away with it! Some of the latest performances have been uncomfortable to watch. Any thoughts??

Can't hear it personally, I think he's been great since the Ritz up until now.

Don't think this one is Tone, the overbearing Noel fanboyism isn't strong with the post.

People should stop taking videos by their phones during a gig and should stop judging gigs/voice by watching those video's uploaded on youtube. i don't mean in the studio, i mean in the latest gigs Have you been to his latest gigs then?

Love his voice more now than I have in about 15 years. I listen to live performances like the Bethnal Green acoustic gig and For What Its Worth on Howard Stern as much as the album.
Remember that movie The Color of Money? The closing shot is Paul Newman playing pool and he slams the ball into the pocket and says "I'M BACK!", then the picture freezes and some effortlessly pimp music kicks in while the audience is left thinking "That is one fucking cool cat!". That's Liam every day at the moment and as a fan I'm fucking loving it.

Hahahahahahaha Absolute bollocks - Liam's voice was the best I've ever heard it live at the Cardiff gig.

Upon opening this thread it dawned on me that Tobez was a bit of a sad sack. It’s a shame but you get them.

Was at Manchester on Saturday night and thought he was excellent

Can you guys add a function to the forum. Whenever someone writes the words "Liam" and "voice" in the title, they get showed bloody search results of the hundred million posts that already exist about that?
Or even better a message that reads "Yes, we know, Liam's voice isn't what it was, get over it"

I don't like to participate in the "Liam's voice" discussions, but i just want to add something, the whole tour taking it's toll on his voice thing, people may think it's a new thing because others keep showing examples from the DBTT tour or something, but that's wrong. It started in the DM tour, just listen to that Vancouver 1995 bootleg, it was near the end of the DM tour and Liam sounds awful, the only good thing about his voice in this gig is that he sounds angry so Bring It On Down sounds pretty good but that's it. I remember when Listen Up from this gig was posted on YT i saw some comments talking about how it was a cover band because "it doesn't sound like Liam"

That Carson Daly Some Might Say performance is dreadful. Its just that awful nasal singing I thought he had finally gotten over.
