Yes, looking forward to this. Jonathan Ross and Alar Carr are usually good shows when he's on.

Apparently you can stream this on C4, but it doesn't seem to do anything for me. Anyone had any luck or know of an alternative source?

You're not missing out on anything. Dreadful and unfunny 'interviewing' from Alan Carr.

Alan Carr - quite simply the most irritating individual ever.

Kasabian were embarrassingly bad. What happened to them?! I’d love to know the answer to that as well. They’ve drifted into Spinal Tap mode. So many rock n roll cliches out of them. Hard to take them serious anymore which is a shame because between 2004 and around 2010 I was a mega fan. Now I’ve lost so much interest. Too many talented bands and artists to follow them religiously anymore. Not that they really merited that in the first place.

I know kasabian are pretty disliked here and fair enough, taste etc. , but the sound they had on that show was pretty atrocious to my humble ears.

And yes, I have seen my avatar recently.

Never understood why is Kasabian so hated here and why're people here taking them seriously? They're pretty much the best "party" band last 10 years or so

I once read the most accurate quote on the band of all time. They sound like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy. Excellent description! I'm now seeking the original quote. Is the original from here? I've copied a larger section, because I agree with it all. Their self-titled debut, while often resembling a photocopy of a photocopy of a Primal Scream album, was at worst inoffensive and at best mindlessly catchy. Even when it was clear that Kasabian were tailoring their sound to reach as many 18-24-year-old ears as possible, it was hard to deny the instant appeal of all those buzzing basslines and crunchy (but not too crunchy) guitars -- until you actually sat down with a pair of headphones and looked for some depth, of course. www.popmatters.com/93480-kasabian-west-ryder-pauper-lunatic-asylum-2496022830.html

I guess that's the way that Beatles fans look at Oasis. Not this Beatles fan. I meant those old Beatles fans, people who are fans from 60s. I am Beatles fan too.

It's not music that offers depth or actually trying. That's the same if I said: Radiohead sucks cause they don't have more singalong choruses
