Someone is paying attention to this forum....
Record Machine (officially released) Stop the Clocks (officially released) The Good Rebel (from the Oasis era) If I Had A Gun (after sound check went viral) Everybody Is On The Run (after sound check went viral) A Simple Game of Genius (after sound check went viral) Freaky Teeth (official release after first hearing live version) Revolution Song (finally finalized and officially released) The Dying of the Light (after sound check went viral) Lock All the Doors (vintage Oasis chorus) God Help Us All (wanted since clip was uncovered in LTSMD docu) Performed the likes of D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman, Angel Child, etc live
Okay, some of those - mainly the NGHFB's first album soundchecked songs - may have been slated for release anyway, but there's no denying that he has pandered to the hard core fanbase (us). Long may it continue.

Half of those releases were six years ago now. That's not recent.

If he's soundchecking songs, they're likely to get released at some point anyway. Shit thread.

One thing I would like he to do is a special christmas show. He has a great new album coming and a good band. His old Oasis and HFB songs are great in a Royal Albert Hall, choir, orchestra setting. That is his place as an artist. He should do something like this and release it, even put it on national TV live. It would be an updated and better version of the Unplugged. Come on! everybody loves his acoustic shows with Gem yet he doesn't release anything remotely similar.
For all the hate he is getting lately, this is a curious part of his personality. There are things and moments in his life as an artist where he has the chance to go full on popular: he could have embraced his middle aged respectable songy songwriter persona after his first solo, get an orchestra, sign with Warner, play stadiums and sell even more than he does, yet he avoided it with Chasing Yesterday, and much more with his last album.

I was thinking this would he about how great the new album is etc, but it's about how he released 12 year old songs 6 years ago. Great

In the context of these songs, he's not actually given us that much as most of them are bang average.
