Canada wins the first encounter with the States 2 to 1. This is all first round play, looking forward to more power hockey in the medal rounds. Last night's game made Olympic Ice Hockey look like a college game. Thursday Russia plays the states Canada downs Slovakia 5 : 2 in their second game...

the US arent playing with heart yet as all north american hockey tends to get much better in the medal rounds...
the US rebounded with a 3 to 1 win against Slovakia, they benched Hull who is expected to come back in the medal round as one mean SOB

and the americans, if they played like they did vs. slovakia the americans arent playing as a team, all them are playing for themselves, if they can't play together they don't stand a chance.... brett hull is a perfect example of this, im so glad he refuses to play for canada
