I didn't want to derail any other threads.
Bonehead seems to tweet to Liam ver y often... I know he's played with Liam couple times through the years but has he played with Noel since he left oasis?
I don't recall him ever speaking ill of noel. He seemed to be friends with both brothers..where As with guigsy, I tend to get the impression that he preferred Noel. Could be wrong.

According to Tony's book, Bonehead locked horns with Noel a lot in the early days, till it became clear the management would back Noel over any of them, since he was the songwriter. Again according to Tony, when Noel described Bonehead quitting as "it's hardly Paul leaving the Beatles", Bonehead's response was to laugh and say "ain't Noel a nasty little twat". It doesn't sound like they were particularly close after they got famous and the band became a job.
It's also worth mentioning Bonehead didn't approve of Tony airing out the dirty laundry in a book, so take his recollections for what they're worth.
I've seen loads of photos of Bone and Liam, and they tweet at each other, and perform together on occasion. It's always seemed to me he's remained good mates with Liam, though that doesn't necessarily mean he hates Noel. Noel just seems like the type who doesn't stay in touch with anyone who's not immediately useful to him, professionally speaking.

Noel was made godfather to Boneheads child after Tony got kicked out of the band. I understand there was a parting of the ways between them post US tour break up in 96 but they were close before this.
Also, as entertaining as Tony's book is it is full of as much shite as Noel. For starters, Paul Ashbee was never known by anyone as the Big 'un, that was made up for the book by the ghostwriter, as was the whole Spartan crap and Noel wearing a cravat on the tour bus in the US. If you remember at the time Tony was kicked out of Oasis, a lot of the most scathing feedback towards him on MTV and in NME and Select at the time was from Bonehead and Liam, not Noel and Guigsy.

Bonehead was at Noel's gig in Glasgow in February 2011. I know because I was there and Noel said so on stage that night.

You gotta respect bonehead and guigsy for their decision as well as NEVER going to the press.

I will always respect Bonehead, he wanted to leave, fine, too bad for us fans, he was the best and most essential bandmember after the Gallaghers. Guigsy, Tony and Alan leaving out was ok for me, but not Bone, if Liam was the soul, Noel the brains then Bonehead was the heart of Oasis.

What I love about that clip is how blootered Bonehead is - proper mad for it and larking about, then it cuts to them the following day when they are on the bus and he looks hung-over to fuck *actually that clip cuts off before you see him on the bus, it’s on the longer one!

I like that he doesn't seem bitter about Oasis at all, even if he obviously doesn't agree with Noel's version of the events ("we let him go").
