What are you on about? This is exactly what I mean... I voted for labour. I'm a labour voter and in the main I was behind Corbyn's manifesto. But, just be objective ffs. It was a very idealistic manifesto and whatever people try and say, not all of the numbers added up. Now, I like Corbyn. As a person he seems decent enough to an extent even if I do feel his politics are at times too close to socialism for my liking. But you just then proved my point. How dare I question Jeremy Corbyn!? As soon as you saw that bit did the red mist descend? If you looked at what I said, I in no way said that I didn't want a fairer society - and neither did Noel either. The fact is, we don't live in that world. We can all pull in that direction but ultimately socialism doesn't work either. A balance is always needed. I didn't mention Corbyn. Have another look. I though that since you mentioned my reference to Corbyn's almost 'cult like' followers, that was what you were referring to. Apologies if I've got mixed up!

I mean you're all right, democratic results should be respected, but protesting is a human right and it's also part of democracy. I lived under Berlusconi for 20 years, I do not respect him, the people who voted for him nor the results at all; if he wins the election again I won't be like "oh well, too bad he won again, I'll sit here consumed with anger for the rest of his mandate". I'm not english, but if I were I would be very pissed about Brexit, I'm not gonna talk about the political/social/national reasons behind the vote, but as a researcher I think of all the people that do research in England thanks to EU funding programmes or scholarships and may lose their jobs now, I know a few in this condition, so if I were them I would complain a lot, at least.

If he's talking about it, then i'd expect him to have decent enough knowledge. If he doesnt, then he should shut the fuck up. You're absolutely right that he's massively out of touch with it all and its a complete embarrassment the way he talks about it all. He isn't out of touch though? What's out of touch about saying a democratic vote - whatever the result - should be respected? What's out of touch by saying him writing his own version of 'give peace a chance' is not going to stop Islamic State executing journalists and teachers or a radicalised British person trying to blow up another arena full of women and children? What's out of touch in saying politics is fucking boring at the minute with people so far each way on the spectrum that they all seem to just merge in to one big heaping pile of shite anyway? That's not out of touch ffs. I'd suggest the people who are more out of touch are the ones convinced we live in an idealistic society... I believe he is out of touch. Look at his views on terrorism. He slams the Government for "letting it happen". Not realising how many theyve stopped in the years since 7/7. And then starts talking about how basically hes bothered now cos his kids travel with us peasants. Maybe out of touch is the wrong term. Id use the same term for Nigel Farage when hes preaching about what a daily commute is like for a working class British person when he lives in a fucking mansion in the south of france for 7 years. Its patronising to get these peoples opinions. Noel says stuff like corbyn is a communist. Basically saying now he has money he shits on the idea of helping out the most disadvantaged and everyone at the top deserves to be there. Hes just a twat when it comes to politics imo.

Well I'd say exactly the same thing. I don't think I'm out of touch. We shouldn't accept that terrorism is a part of our daily lives. I'm sorry but I don't want to bring my kids up in a world where that's deemed part of their lives. When the IRA were attacking (mainly) the north of England, there was no acceptance of it. People lived with it, but nobody - as far as I'm aware - readily accepted that we had to live with it and accept it. The government are responsible for letting it happen. I don't care how many were stopped. That's what they should be doing - keeping the country - the planet - safe and secure. Why should they be praised for the basic thing they are charged with? And he's never said that. He's saying as a father, he's worried. He's worried that the Mayor of London has said that the capital has to accept terrorism as a risk. They had plenty of opportunities not to let the lad who bombed the arena back into the country. As soon as he went to Lybia, he should have never been let back in to this country - he'd made his choice. He was on the watch list for a reason. I'm not laying the blame game, but that atrocity should never have happened. As the invasion of Iraq shouldn't have happened all those years ago. It's just like the Jo Cox murder. A complete physcopath kills a mother of two and prominent politician and what do the government do about it? They didn't even take responsibility. They can't keep one of their own safe. How the hell can we expect them to keep the country safe? And he doesn't say Corbyn is a communist. He says he doesn't like the idea of communism, which to an extent is what some of Corbyn's - definitely not all - political opinions are. In this modern age of social media, where we should all be more knowledgeable of other opinions - we actually aren't. Because we're all in our own bubble. We're all on twitter and we only follow people who we want to follow - people who tend to have the same views as us on a variety of subjects, whether it be sport, fashion, music or politics. So when something says something different, you (not 'you' specifically, but the general term) describe them as 'out of touch'. They aren't. They just aren't in touch with your little bubble, or my little bubble. You can't debate anymore. There is no debate because you just get people on either side of the argument saying - 'no. you're wrong.' OR, people claiming their opinion is more meaningful than other people's facts. It's not out of touch. It's just a different opinion. And many people will share that same opinion. But we're now in a world where if we don't have to take in another person's opinion, we don't have to. We just block them. It's a strange time.

But it would be naive to think that the Government could stop every single British born person who wants to go in the middle of a crowd and blow 30 people up. Hundreds are stopped through great work that goes overlooked as soon as 1 slips through. I genuinely dont see how that is 100% preventable. I dont think this is happening more because people are accepting it. Manchester werent accepting what had happened in the aftermath. There was a great show of defiance. I wouldnt say they are any less likely to be under threat now. My problem with Noels comments is it seems he isnt bothered until it affects himself. Which is fair enough if you are that way inclined. But its like alot of things he does now, hes forgotten who got him where he is and isnt really bothered about that either. Again, if thats alright with you or whoever then fine but it isnt something i like about him

No two people are ever going to agree on it... which is what democracy is basically about.
As an American, I voted democrat for my entire life as did my parents and my grandparents... but I voted for Trump and I don't regret that decision. There are so many positives that outweigh the negatives but let's face it... the media plays a huge role in the negative narrative. I'm actually tired of celebrities trying to tell me how I should think or feel.. because let's face it... they live in a completely different environment than most people. So, I'm glad that Noel made the comment about democracy.
I'm sure some will read my comment and assume that I'm racist because I'm a Trump supporter... and there's really no way to disprove that assumption.
Yes, I don't agree with many of Trump's comments or his tweeting but there were a lot of Obama comments that I also didn't agree with.

When Robert De Niro did that video about Trump i was like, you absolute stupid washed up old twat. What makes these people in positions of privilege think that making videos or doing tv appearances and forcing their warnings of how things will change if they elect someone or leave the EU? The man at home, who hasnt had a job for 15 years listening to a millionaire get worried about how the country could change while he sits there after seeing nothing change in his life for so long, whats he gonna do? How can people so supposedly well educated not see this? Give people nothing for so long, then offer them change and theyll vote for change. To be honest i dont have a clue what id have done if i was American. The Clintons are more disgusting than Trump, thats for sure.

This thread definitely shows that Noel is saying the truth in that interview. Page 2 and people are on each others' throats - imagine if Noel actually did political lyrics.
By the way, why the fuck did that interviewer have such a hard on for Noel's political opinion? Talk about the damn music.

Why would anyone vote for a clinton after what theyve done?
The fact is there was nothing to fucking vote for.
This vilification of Trump voters and calling anyone who voted Brexit a racist (something that was proven wrong by the last election with labour picking up many UKIP votes) is exactly why extreme left politics is its own worst enemy.
