Just absolutely pissed it at a tweet claiming that Liam's new album will be called 'Don't Believe the Truce'

I'm pretty sure there won't be a new album this year but there is a 7/8 week gap in his gig schedule this year before he starts his second European tour.
Maybe he is recording then or something but there is a little part of me hoping he is going to drop a new album out of the blue.
Those are some big venues he has booked and it wouldn't surprise me if there is something planned to help fill them.

Take a break. Then record. Have it out in early 2019.

Just amusing myself speculating.

I think Liam should just do more of the same in a way, and i think that's what it'll be.
Let's be fair, he isn't going to be coming out with some forward thinking music or anything too out there and experimental. It's not really in him and if that happens, it's more than likely coming from other writers anyway. Plus he's signed to a major, they are just going to want to follow on from the success of the last one.
I think he should just do what he does. An album full of solid tunes. He's mid 40's and isn't going to change the world and his fanbase isn't going to stretch much further now.
If he can release an album with some good singles and solid tracks it sells pretty well, plus showing some good displays of his own songwriting, i'd say it's a success for him. Just got to be realistic.

It was probably registered as part of the Supersonic documentary - I forget if it features. The same thing happened to one of Noel's early songs.

If he recorded the album with the same voice of yesterday..we're gonna have an album with brilliant vocals, maybe even better than AYW where he sounds biblical

MOJO: "Liam Gallagher releases his second solo album in September, having recorded it in Los Angeles" So we can expect a similar timeline as As You Were then. Summer festival dates to promote the album then UK and world tour dates to follow into 2020.

As You Were was good enough but overdid the effects a bit. Can't wait to hear it.

Is this confirmation or what ?! Probably not. A quick hint because Noel did some interview stuff for Mojo as well. I'm expecting an earlier release.

If the album is already recorded, September seems ridiculously late. That's even worse than a Noel release.

Great news!
I’m guessing June/July but it could be any month after March really

I believe he’s recording some self-written material this week. I’m really hoping they’ll make the album shortlist; I think some of his best work on As You Were is his own.
