Iv listened to the album 3 times now.
Shockwave- 6 One of us- 7 Once- 7 Now that I found you- 8 Halo-6 (biggest grower so far, hated it originally) Why me why not-6 Be still- 8 Alright now- 5 Meadow- 7 The river- 6 Gone- 8
A very solid album. Less stompers on this one but feel like there's a good mix of sounds over a few tracks. Meadow blew my mind the first time I heard it. Hated halo to start with but after another couple of listens I started to get it.
One thing I would say is that the choruses across this album seem to deliver a little more, its all a little more consistent. I would rate this as a 7/10 with as you were a 6.5/10.
Can only imagine the spoken bit live for Gone (crowd goes wild)

Hey igotflair do you know which songs will play liam at the Jonathan Ross show? I think they recorded it today I thought it was due to be filmed tomorrow, but it's now postponed? he posted a pic of his dressing room for Ross show on his insta story earlier today so I'm assuming it was indeed recorded today. I haven't seen anything about it being postponed?

That's the moment you realize his taste in music is horrid lol.. Why this? WBTM is a very good album. WMWN is a very good album. He's entitled to his opinion. I for one am glad WMWN reflects some of the joy that came through on WBTM. Those are the highlights for me, over the angry snarly rockers (which bar The River/Gone don't really work) or a wannabe ballad.

Tbf you’ve gone 9/10 on WMWN. Nothing like OTT reactions. Exactly what I thought when you gave The River 2/10. Never seen such a case of Noelboyism on this forum yet.

Can somebody be banned for just having a really bad opinion? God, cosmic pop over bad ass rock n roll.

The Once demo IS on the main 320kbps rip, found floating out on the ocean and such places, just fyi. Btw, Alright Now is like solo Harrison and solo Lennon fused together, and Meadow is Beatles Harrison. Maybe the closest anyone has ever sounded. I LOVE these moments.

Am I the only one who thinks Why Me Why Not is the strongest track on the record?
Can't get it out of my head.

We've found our cosmic pop fan right here. Possibly the worst review I've ever seen .. What do you give Live Forever ? 4/10 .. Black Star is probably a 10/10 for you lol Yeah this dude is literally on acid. He’s a Liam hater and he could come out with an album like What’s the story and he’d hate it. Anyway. I still haven’t listened to a single new song yet I’m waiting til Friday night. Going to buy the album and get some drinks and blast it. What amazes me is how distorted the reviews are, some people love some songs and others dislike those same songs. So it’s a very mixed album which means it’s great.

All I want to do is have my mind wiped so I can experience this for the first time again. Maybe in 20 years we'll be ready to do that?

Liam's worst vocals on the album seem to be Now that I've Found You. He seems to strain a bit. And I am not really hearing much strain anywhere else on the album. I wonder what that is about?

A studio technique commonly referred to as punch ins. Lets say you sing a line and miss a note at the end, you go get a drink and a breath, come back, and sing that note again. The producer will erase the part you screwed up or strained on and edit in the note you sung correctly.

Kind of like the production of I Can See A Liar in SOTSOG which differentiated itself by sounding very muddy among all the crisp and clear other tracks. Makes me wonder if the track was rushed and or overlooked or something.

10 years after Oasis split and its actually a great time to be a fan with both brothers putting out quality music at a steady pace.
Liam’s album has some slappers

Alright Now is the most Musically gifted song on the album. It sounds like it was left on a shelf back in the 60s and early 70s by one of the greats.
I know its 2 each their own but its blowing my mind seeing how many people on here dont like it.
It's my 2nd favorite on the album and close 2 the best. Its timeless and wonderful
