I'd like to see him team up with David Holmes. "Liam, don't sing like that, it sounds like Oasis. Have you ever tried making music like Serge Gainsbourg?"

I hope that now that the record company sees Liam is still a money maker they will invest more time and cash in the song writing. The best lyrics on the album capture Liam's attitude and we need more of that and less of the obvious, cringy rhymes. I adore the album but someone needed to take a red pen to some of those lyrics and why does FWIW feel like it's missing half it's words lol. A producer who can capture more of his live energy would be awesome. BE was SO over produced, let's not go there please!

I thought Sitek was the only positive thing on BE as it was one of the worst collections of songs I have ever heard in my life. I'd be happy if Liam demoed for a couple of weeks with Dan the drummer again then met up with Kurstin and Wyatt for the whole album, fleshing out his demoes and coming up with new songs in the studio. There's no way Liam has a whole album's worth of songs in him.

Reading the NGHFB #4 album thread I thought that this was a good idea. I already listened AYW so many times that it feels that the record came years ago. With the next album I would love him to do something similar that what Noel did in CY. Some classic tunes and some others taking new sounds. And if its possible with the same producers,AYW sounds biblical in production terms. Maybe James Ford could help him, that guy is brilliant. Speculation tunes: The fuck happened to Not For Sale? And Eh La? Well...tbh the last one should stay as a b-side. I never thought this was a real song. Just a joke from Liam.

I actually would love a bit of variation in the next record,AYW got a perfect balance between rockers and mellow ballads. You got Wall Of Glass,Greedy Soul,Come Back To Me,You Better Run and I Get By in the stomper side, and then Paper Crown,FWIW,Chinatown,Universal Gleam and I've All I Need as the ballads. 5 and 5. And the rest of the songs are kinda midtempo. Its a perfect balance to me. So the second one should be following this path and explore some sounds like DHTBTW

Rather than just cranking out another solo album (though I'm sure it wuold be good) Liam should try a collaboration with another established artist. How great would it be if he went into the studio with Richard Ashcroft? The two best voices of the 90s on one album! Ashcroft would be able to bring the songwriting clout that Liam so clearly needs as well.

But I NEVER thought Not For Sale was anything else than some random rambling from him.

I love Ashcroft, Marr, Brown etc but Liam's solo career at the moment is on a completely different level compared to those other greats. None of them have put out solo material close to AYW for a while now. He doesn't need anyone but himself and should just keep moving forward musically while throwing in a third to half a set of absolute Oasis bangers live, and he will continue to be massive.

Let’s get that punk record out. And/or bring Auerbach back into the discussion.

I just hope he really stretches his voice on the next record. AYW sounds as good as could have been expected but I think he has definitely regained his confidence in his voice since he started touring again.
Liam belting out some proper punk rock anthems over screaming guitars. Oh yes, needs to happen.

I really really like, soon or later, a cover album. I just listened Natural Mystic. Amazing.
He deliver every song. What a singer.

A cover album would be great! It can be just like Lennon's Rock n Roll which brought new energy into nice old songs. I'm sure he'll make it although it doesn't have to be 2nd album.. hopefully in near future!

Please, not Dave Sitek. I believe he told the lads in Beady Eye what they wanted to hear--not what they NEEDED to hear, and BE would have been better with a different producer. Can't stress this enough. Sitek should be permabanned from having anything to do with Liam's music. I remember reading an interview from Sitek during the recording of BE where he said it was all about the artist keep the suits away blah blah. One of the BE lads (maybe Liam) talking about Sitek teaching them how to burn incense and keep evil spirits away. The suits have their place in the scheme of things--they want to see some money made, some records and tickets sold--which would have helped the band. I'd love to see somebody like Rick Rubin produce Liam--somebody to bring the best out of Liam.

James Ford could be a potential great producer for him. After IDHTBTW I can see it happen
