Am I the only one that gets a very 'Girls In Uniform' vibe from this one? I feel like that guitar is almost a direct lift.

Reminds me mainly of Hand in Glove by The Smiths. The melody of the guitar is almost exactly the same.

The intro guitar riff is very similar to Sting's 'I Can't Stop Thinking About You'

The interludes (all my people / all mankind) ? The Interludes heavily remind me of this The little guitar riff is definitely taken from this.... Noel likes that album, I imagine he was influenced by it. WBTM definitely feels akin to that Revs album (Mirrors) in how it flows.

The interludes (all my people / all mankind) ? YEP. kinda funny i though, you can sing fat cats in my pretty green perfectly on it. But girls in uniform on BW? No.

It's very Kula Shaker-style IMO, as are the Interludes. Not that Kula Shaker are the only ones ever to do that sort of 'spacey' Britpop sound, but B&WS immediately makes me think of them.

I never thought this about any NGHFB song, but.... yeah. Imagine Liam singing it.
