So if this show is on from 6:30-9:30 and they say it will play "after 6:30", does this mean a little bit after or will we be waiting an hour or so? I can stay up til 1:30 here to listen but don't want to be awake for too long....

It's amazing how the name Dave Sardy has made my hype for this about one-tenth what it was for Who Built the Moon. I'll obviously check out the song tomorrow but I won't be too shocked if it doesn't blow me away. Hope I get a pleasant surprise. Again, I agree. I’m not interested in Noel either working with Sardy who is proven shite (Catpiss & The Milk Floatman? Jet? Fuck off) or Noel working by himself. And I don’t want merely synthetic production tricks to simply mask what is essentially another midtempo plodder. I much prefer a project with a skilled and highly rated producer like Holmes over the middle aged meat and potatoes plod that has bogged down his songwriting for the best part of 20 years. Who Built The Moon is the best Gallagher related album since Be Here Now - it just is, it’s vibrant and textured and really fun. If we get another of that, then great. But if Noel hasn’t handed the reigns to an industry expert then I struggle to get really excited to be honest. That’s fine, and it’s no big bugbear, as there’s plenty of new music to indulge in, but it’s what stops you from being an absolute fanatic because of current work (I worry that Who Built The Moon was just a one off exception to the rule) to someone who you merely follow due to sentimental attachment. |

I’m still finding it hard to believe we are getting a new album out of Noel this soon... I just have a feeling it’s going to be an ep or filler single. Hope I’m wrong!

Noel's handwriting is pretty cool. More like a girl's (if I'm allowed to say that) than your usual man's dead spider scrawl. I wish my handwriting looked like that. Mine looks like a 5 year old who just learned to write. |

Dave Berry starts at 6, so the fact they are saying 8:30 for his show would suggest that’s the time he’ll be on with Dave. Nae idea about Zoe Ball though.

I only ever listen to the radio in times like this when I'm waiting for debuts of Liam/Noel's stuff and it never fails to amaze me how shite other music is.
