That snippet has obviously been chosen specifically to take the piss out of those that are likely to judge a song on a 7 second snippet. Some people are funny. No vocals, no idea of what part of the song it is, and some people on twitter are already saying it's his worst song 😂 It can't be his worst song. That'd be Holy Mountain. Seven. And like you said, he'll have done it to take the piss. But... it sounds groovy. But it does sound like a song a lot of Noel Gallagher fans won't like. Don't get me wrong, I think it sounds interesting but there will be those who are not going to like this if the rest of the song is anything like those 7 seconds. |

When it was the 90s, Noel was writing stuff that sounded like the 60s. Now he's writing stuff in 2019 that sounds like the 80s. So, in ten years he'll be writing stuff that sounds like the 1990s. And in 20 years he'll be writing SOTSOG again

It's amazing how the name Dave Sardy has made my hype for this about one-tenth what it was for Who Built the Moon. I'll obviously check out the song tomorrow but I won't be too shocked if it doesn't blow me away. Hope I get a pleasant surprise.

Interesting, I wasn't really expecting something like that sound. It might not turn out to be my kind of music again, which is a bit of a bummer but life goes on. Still I'll be tuning in tomorrow to check it out.
